Where can i get the KIT if it wasnt included in the box? I think im gonna need it when i upgrade more especially that cable connecting to the motherboard. Please drop the link or the name of the kit
I have the same laptop and the situation is the same as in this video but my flex cable for hdd immediately burnt after starting the laptop. I want to note that the hdd and cable was installed properly by a professional service. Does anyone know what was the problem and what I can do since it is very hard to find that flex connector cable to buy?
am i installing this on the computer hard drive or should i buy another hard drive to install this too and replace existing?

Yes of course. It will work with either 2.5 inch conventional SATA Hard Disk OR 2.5 inch SATA SSD. The form factor must be of 2.5 inch size.
Where can you buy hd shielding? Looked everywhere and can't find any.

Sheild is for hdd due to electrostatic charge on the surface of hdd u can install ssd without any shield

Hdd(hard disk drive) is storage and optional if you want to add one, however ssd(solid state drive) is smaller and faster but more expensive
