Asus Vivobook F515JA - Can you get any more basic?
Here is our review of this basic budget laptop from Asus. The Vivobook F515JA is geared at home users on a budget. On the whole it performs well and has all the connectivity you'll need, however the webcam is it's main let down with a low resolution 480p 0.3 megapixel offering.

Thanks for this video - a friend of mine has one so it was very useful to see how to open it for cheap upgrade options - 8Gb doesn't seem to cut it any more.
Big Like 👍
is the whole laptop name called Asus VivoBook F515JA Core i3-1005G1?
im kinda sad that this is all plastic and no finger print scanner and poor web cam quality for how much it is, yes on the cheaper side but still not really fair.

Works for me just fine - never had any issues with static or fluff and keeps everything from being scratched. Thanks for the comment though. Always nice to hear from viewers 🙂

@@FrimleyComputing have you heard the phrase idiot science? it is the science of I did not see it happen so it did not happen. Static damage can be hidden and lower the performance or life of components. So far I have just seen you take the back off a laptop I seriously hope you do not do much more component wise on your towel

@@Zinglebarb I do most repairs on the towel and never had an issue in 25 years of using one and so I'll continue to use it until something goes "pop", of which I doubt ever will.

@@FrimleyComputing yeah in 25 years you really have not learnt some of the very basic rules of electronics. Oh well. I would suggest you did some research on the unseen damage static can do but I am sure you will not. I have been building and repairing PCs since 1999 but I had electronic education off my father a Physicist who worked on electronics used on Concorde and the Eurofighter. I have had this convo many times and always see the same replies. Plus how do you know you have not damaged performance with static ? how do you know you have not diminished the lifespan of components? you simply do not know. Idiot science
