    How is the thermal performance, does the CPU get hot due to the cooling fan design?

    it gets to above 70^C while gaming, but it is ok ish in normal loads, even cooler

    Hello, my screws are not coming out, I only got out 4 of them, the other 6 won't budge. do you know what is happening and what I should do?

    Use some screw lock glue , it will fix it and stoping from coming out

    it's not designed to keep a cold beer, but the CPU is decently cooled :)

    Salut! Am același model, Asus x512DA cu Ryzen 5 3500u 8gb ram.., problema cu el e că ajunge și la 95 de grade când joc ceva (chiar și CS:GO pe low) - folosesc cooler cu 4 ventilatoare "de gaming". Ar ajuta dacă îi schimb pasta termoconductoare? Problema e că .. framedrops. Nu știu dacă și al tău e la fel, dar al meu are ca placă video Vega 8 - integrată. Dacă mă poți ajuta, mulțumesc mult.

    @@walterflorescenteno1108 it's 2400 but if you can't find a 2400 you can also put 2666 and it will read it as 2400

    the cooling of these models are good on 15w power plan. but once it is overclocked even with cooling pad it heats up very badly. my opinion for the cooling solution they went with is crap sadly.

    I have the same laptop, I'm surprised to see the fan is not connected to the heat pipes. No wonder it throttles

    @@Dongzzzzzz yeah. I wish they would have went with a better cooling solution for this. or at least have a aftermarket cooler. it performs awesome till you hit the celsius you set in ryzen controller.

    @@harveybrooks1460 you tried a cooling pad yet? I seem to manage the temp by putting it on a cooling rack (yes the one used for food) and it stayed at 79°C vs 85°C on a plain table. If you tried please tell me whether a cooling pad works or not.

    @@Dongzzzzzz the cooling pad kept my laptop from melting at least but still throttles here and there. it might depend on the brand I guess as well. I am using a cheap nexxtech cooling pad with no way to adjust rpm's in it. stays around the same as you explained. best way to tell if throttling is from the most harsh cpu intensive game ever....arma 3.

    I agree with you,they could have been doing the normal heat pipe solution.. definitely use a cooling pad under the laptop 👩‍💻 for better cooling while gaming
