    Sure brightness was at 80 same as asus I think. It's bright ans in the evening it's usually at 70. The setting is the factory set the frist one. So it's HDR.

    So Glad i went for the VG27AQL3A instead, it can go up to 400 nits on HDR mode unlike the VG27AQ3A that can only go up to 250 nits which make the hdr and 2k reso of it kinda pointless.

    If you are color picky or you do productivity aside from gaming you should choose LG, it's pre calibrated so you wont have to tinker it so much and it is much more color accurate since it is nano-ips. I am using both asus and LG and as much as I want to stick with one brand for multiple monitor setup, I just cant ignore the performance and the satisfaction it gives me.

    This is a meaningless paragraph. Asus uses a variety of panels for their products so each Asus monitor has their own panels with different color settings, calibration. Pick the one with a good panel, not the brand

  • @claxcz

    @claxcz

    @@doggydoggy578 you said meaningless paragraph but you don't understand what I was saying. Yes, Asus uses different panels, this model uses IPS tech. In fact, every brand in the monitor industry supplies monitors with different panels and technology so I don't get why you said that I was saying are meaningless. The fact is all tests and all reviewers point out that when these two specific monitors go head to head the LG one is more accurate color wise since it has nano-ips technology and it was already pre-calibrated according to the industry standard if you know the terms for it then you are might familiar with the words like sRGB, NTSC, Adobe, etc etc. Plus I have these two specific monitors and I do graphic design and video editing with the side of gaming so I know what I am talking about hence I said that "as much as I would love having both monitors comes from the same brand, I can't simply ignore the performance of the other". But I agree with picking a monitor tho not because of the brand, so as equally important in choosing a monitor that would fit your needs.

The Asus is still a great monitor for thr price. So you definitely know better then me on these 2 more sure.
