You do relize the cablemanagment clip is meant to come off in a event where you snag the cable that run thru it. Better that way, instead of pulling your monitor over risking damage.

Nah, it's a deliberate design. It's meant to do that. You won't find one that doesn't pop off if it gets tugged on. It's kind of a well known feature.@@vator_rs

@@jonny-b4954 Welp, maybe it just looks very fragile, in IRL it could be a lot stronger to hold heavy cables hanging back. But I often bunch up a ton of cables from my monitor, especially if it's got an USB Hob, so I dont think Id be using that quick release cable management 😂 Right now I got dell with fixed cable managing point, and it works pretty good, so I prefer that.

@Badr Ahmed Same, mines similar i got an rtx 3070 xlr8 and have slight flickering issues but i use gysnc option via nvidia control panel and tbh its not that bad unless I'm on a website with dark mode off... White background on Google you see slight black flickering but it's only if you really pay attention

@@mansagibbo9724 im telling you the asus vg32 is a gr8 monitor for the price . I really cant see any ghosting in cod and apex legend..project cars 2. I racing.... the only game that i can notice some ghosting in it is asseto corsa compatizione...and i dont know why . But the rest of my games no ghosting at all.

I got my monitor today, got my PS5 hooked up to it and I’m very impressed with it, thank you for your great review on this monitor.

@@Hydrokiller16 I did some research and was able to minimize the ghosting. It’s still there just not as bad. I hardly notice it after the adjustments

I just got this monitor and am extremely happy with it. I'm not a gamer, but I got it to go with my new Alienware desktop PC that I use for work and it's perfect.

I couldn't help but notice the Axonn Bionicle, f-ing legendary!

I got the VQR version of this one. Pretty good monitor. I had Alienware 2720hfa. I returned the alienware due to eyestrain, dizziness and headaches. I usually play Valorant, I am ranked in immo 2. This monitor is pretty good for me. I prefer bigger size screens, so the heads and bodies in the games are bigger as well and it's easier to shoot. Also, due to the low response time, there are no dark smearing, ghosting and motion blur. They are calling the VQR version(2021) -(VQ is 2019), the dethroner of the odyssey of g7. The other thing, they finally took off the ports from the top-side and everything facing to the bottom now. Much better. Overall, very pleased with this monitor.

Wonderful review mate. Just got this monitor and wondered about the BLB after watching a movie. I found it quite a bit pronounced and distracting, especially considering movies aren't 16:9 so you just get this big glow in the in the black bars. Comparing with yours it seems about the same (bigger glow left top mid) so thanks for covering that part. I'll keep it and not return it. Eventually I'll get used to it.

Can somebody tell me whats the difference to the ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B besides that the VQ1B has 165hz ??

On my xbox one X, this monitor support the 4k resolution but its a 1440p monitor... is that normal ??

I get mine tomorrow so I will find out then but does anyoen know is you can save settings per connection? I will use this for a work PC on DP and Xbox on hdmi and assume I will be able to save settings individually.

I ordered it off of amazon after i watched this video and couldn’t be more excited to use this for the series X!

@@SirAndreas20 most games wont be getting anywhere near 4k 120 on the newer consoles. If you have a 4k60 tv, you are gonna be more than fine with them. For me, I'll have a 1440p 120 monitor that will benefit greatly with the super sampling the ps5 might do

@@hartt1 Im using RTS/rpg or fps setting that u have in the monitor option. My problem wasnt that, I had to update my graphic card driver and that resolved my issue!

Does it come with the VESA mount plate? It seems the specs from their site says it’s capable but have to buy the VESA mount separately

I know they say 27” is like the sweet spot with pixel density, etc etc. But 32” fits my set up better with my desk mount. The 32” fills the corner region of my desk nicely as opposed to the 27” monitor I used before. I’m not a huge pixel whore, but it looks great to me. I got the AOC 32” 1440/165hz for $330, but I was debating between that and spending the extra $40 for this ASUS TUF one. I thought I would have regertz but I do not.

@@212aeh I am trying to decide between 27 inch and 32inch 1440p monitor for similar usecase. I mainly it for gaming, but I do freelance where I look at a lot of text and graphics. Since 24inch 1080p and 32inch 1440p monitors both have same pixel density (91ppi), if you have or if you can find a 24inch 1080p monitor, you can look at that one and see if image clarity bothers you or not. That way you can tell if you should go with 32, or drop down to 27inch for a bit more sharpness (105ppi)

I would like to buy this monitor so that I can connect my 2015 Macbook Pro (using HDMI Cable) to it for duel screen purposes. Would this cause inefficiencies in the quality or any flickering on the monitor??

3:17 How the heck does ELMB make it blurrier??? It's supposed to strobe the backlight so you don't see the transition from 1 frame to the next. The whole point is to get a clearer picture.. Worst case scenario is you see the blurriness that is always there but dimmer. I'm all ears for an explanation if anyone has one.

In regards to the cable management, I would much rather have the detachment than have my entire monitor getting pulled down with the cables. I think it's a feature, not an area for improvement. Just my $0.02

I have this monitor... Only issue is skyrim special edition gave me screen tera with an rtx xlr8 3070, ryzen 7 3800x and corsair rgb pro white 3200mhz 16GB... Only thing I had to do was go to nivida control panel and change the program settings to have vsync on skyrim only! Not global settings. Global settings I keep vsync off and max performance on power management

Update: I have been using the monitor now for a couple months, and I gotta say this thing is such an amazing price to performance purchase for me. I love the different preset modes for gaming and viewing content. The ghosting is very minimal, and the frames come out buttery smooth. The size is awesome for any game I play, maybe with the exception of league of legends just simply because of scrolling across the huge monitor for skillshots. But with fps, racing, rpg, city builders, and essentially anything I play has been a great experience with this. Thanks for the review..really helped me pick the correct monitor.

You really should have done more research....ps5 uses hdmi 2.1 to obtain 4k 120hz. This monitor neither supports 4k or hdmi 2.1. Ps5 does not support 1440p. So you will be hooking a ps5 with a hdmi 2.1 to play downscaled 1080p 60hz. Its going to look like shit. Return it and wait for hdmi 2.1 monitors to release

Hillo nah the display ends up outputting 2160 instead of 1440. Idk how but it looks great😂😂😂

The menu on this monitor sucks , it’s stuck in racing mode and I can’t get it out , the colour settings are locked and I’m left with a washed out screen when playing on ps5

If anyone has this monitor, can u tell if it happens with you too that sometimes my monitor get full black for 1sec and when it comes back it looks like the colors a little bit off. Just a little im not a 100% sure. Also I was shocked that just now I looked a compareing with the other asus tuf monitors and (for example to the vg32vq1B) the Power Consumption is way higher to the other ones almost more than 3x

Using this monitor and currently typind this with ugly horizontal lines all across my beautiful monitor ;( only had it for about 6 months not sure what the deal is...

Man..... I have a bad case of analysis paralysis. I’m not upgrading to next gen this year. Just because there are no HDMI 2.1 monitors that won’t break the bank and are even available this year. It is VESA mount compatible so yes you can, just screw off the stand.

Make sure you are using a certified DiplayPort 1.4 cable and not the standard 1.2 cable that came with the monitor.

@@Abraham-hv7fm yea. It's decently priced and runs well on my series S. So the X should run better. Just the speakers that aren't great. but if you're gaming, I'm sure you'll have a headset
