Missing the first keystrokes after not using the keyboard for a while is a widely known keyboard Aura Sync issue with ALL RGB ASUS laptops. If you uninstall the Aura Sync drivers or set Aura Sync active in Armoury Crate, the issue goes away. The issue only persists if the drivers are present, but are not actively used.

Great points! Why have the 2K-240 hz screen when you have 300 nits brightness and the gpu can only offer 60 fps on 1080p?

This laptop is absolutely garbage. I have had this for just over a year and it always disappoints. OS arrived corrupt (windows 10 did not work with drivers, fresh 11 almost works). Battery lasts 90 mins maximum. The performance is poor. Crashes. Want to close the laptop and resume? Nah it's restarted itself. You left this laptop locked and want to come back? Nah, it's performance has plummeted and needs a restart. Overheats like crazy. And I am now sitting here, with the laptop not turning on for no reason at all. This is mind boggling.

Which other laptops would you recommend for gaming right now?

PC honestly or just get something that's discounted that fits on your budget can't really recommend anything because prices always changes do the research yourself and don't be spoon fed.

I picked this laptop up for £630 used on eBay with a 1 year full replacement warranty. Bargain so I’m not too worried about the performance!

My laptop only worked for a year, a lot of keys are not working and charger also got dysfunctional .

I get 35-40+ fps on qhd favor quality on rdr2 ..Gameplay seemed smooth enough to play

Dum comparison with Mac, got g15 rtx 3080, 32 gig - no kestroke issue, keyboard is ok - who uses numpad? if you want num-pud buy different laptop - good screen - built quality - temps on performance mode 72 C' max GPU & CPU ultra settings nearly all games (turbo is useless) - very good overall laptop for gaming(though its not typical gaming laptop), coding, web browsing, etc. Mac is good for nearly everything else excepts gaming. Nothing is perfect, when buying a laptop you should buy one that suits your needs.
