Can u make a review using a pen please ?

I have to admit this fan design allowing the airflow to be pumped from above and below is quite brilliant. I have Clevo.machine with a monstrous cooling solution but fans only get air from below and thus they have to work much harder. I was thinking making new holes on the top bit of the case in order to create airflow from there as well.

How much fps with 4k rdr2 ?? also if you use eGPU how much fps you can expect ?? Please reply @The Provoked Prawn

It's a home labtop , it's nice . But for outdoor it's too heavy to carry around . And only last 5 hours on battery . It berns up a lot of battery.

I still personally prefer the Zenbook Pro Duo. It’s cheaper and maybe doesn’t have a GPU as good but it still will pack a punch. Atleast that thing still has a webcam and the upper display is an OLED touch display.

I’m really curious about VR performance with an index. You would have to use a bi-directional usb c to DisplayPort cable on the thunderbolt 3 port. I imagine it’s possible but I’m curious if there are any hdcp errors like other laptops like the area 51m and some Aorus and MSI laptops.

@@wyattreed1442 I like the higher refresh of the index and hdcp compliance means you can stream movies from Vudu and other platforms in programs like big screen that puts you in a movie theater.

I love that it doesnt have a webcam

I purchased the cam which is sold on Amazon that goes with this, it really worthwhile the extra though not cheap, being separate it hooks on top of the screen, you can sit it too looking backwards from screen, and it come with small table stand, camera angle is adjustable. The small stand is weighted, so good for paper weight too, on the underside it has standard tripod thread. The camera has very basic adjustment for focus/aperture sliders, stills or video, fps up to 60 fps. Additionally it will also copy documents, so with a little thought, you would have more at your disposal than just a pin hole camera looking at you. The screen shot from the camera is a good quality picture or video, excellent for conference, The lens is hardly visible, a small light shines when active. The sound is picked up from two sensors either of the camera facing. Really, though disappointing a camera not built in to such an expensive laptop, this one of those cases it really worth extra to purchasing this extra, as the quality/versatility may exceed what you could possibly get, and placing this small light weight camera oblong in shape on top on the screen is not obstructive, or just use the stand if you prefer. Ir simply plugs into the USB at the rear or side of screen and feeds directly into the laptop which you can have showing on either screen tucked to one side or full screen. Having seen many review on this laptop, this camera escapes any attention, when it can be so useful, so really... Asus deserves medal for having got it right, on such a high end laptop.

That's the rub, the angle isn't great for reading imo. But I think that'll depend how you sit. If you sit bolt upright in your chair it might be ok. But for me, a sloucher, it's not great.

Get yourself a laptop table you can place over your lap, there is a metal one on Amazon that has two fans if heat is of concern, and some others with vents or just a single fan plugs into a USB, though it is not so sturdy at full height needing careful tilt to balance, it is fine at lower heights.as it folds and can be used flat too. I has a mouse pad stand too, that screws to the side which is optional to use.

I’m curious as to what model your 34 inch 1440p monitor is? I’d be grateful if you could advise. 🙏 Thanks in advance.

so this computer is a powerhouse and i love it BUT however it has alot of bugs, the second screen blinks when I open most games, and tech support from asus advised me to system restore (after I told them this has happened since the start when i first turned on the computer) and then contact whomever i got the computer from to fix it, instead of admitting it is a hardware/software issue(tech support)...smh

I find the fact that Asus promoted that the components doesn't heat up is kinda misleading with the fact that it gets really hot in the bottom.. I would buy a zephyrus S instead, a secondary screen for this kinda drawback isn't worth it for me, i think it's because they removed the hinge that existed in previous models, but still if it roasts your lap why buy it though ?
