It is the best period. This is the gamers gpu of all gpus. 4090 is gamers and workloads and creation or gam designs devs etc. But for pure gamers the 4080 super is the king for what you get. Im sry but the 4090 is 750dollars more meaning it shoupd give me a 4070 ti super in perforamnce difference over the 4080 super right? Nope on average its like 20 to 30%. But with my strix im using thr 3 plugs idc ehat anybody says as its about the only way to get the full 33% extra power. I have mine set to 420watts and 3000mhz OC. I bought the none OC edition and got insanely lucky with the silicone. Sry i wasnt paying that extra money for 70 to 90mhz when i could do that myself. But yeah so im getting another 9.75% in real world performance in games. So im legit within 10 to 15% in many games of a 4090. Its def a 4k beast. I have my 4080 super is running in a lian li ari mini. Which isnt rhe ebst for airflow. Yet my 4080 super never goes above 63c it averages around 61c and thats in a case only using 3 fans with 1 fully blocked by the gpu which is practically touching the fan because the case is small. It looks so damn good stuffed in here and my temps are god tier. The only thing is my idle temps arent as good but thats the case and being so big in there blocking that 1 fan off. But who cares when max load temps are amazing. People worry to kuch about idle temps. Lol

Just get the none OC version if you can. Hard to find because asus doesn't like letting people get deals. People think it's about silicone or bins and it's not. It's just so asus can say see we have a more affordable one but hey we aren't going to release as many lol. I got lucky and got one ans my boost clocks were identical to the OC variant. Same bios, same everything. There is literally no difference and it's also why it's only on average 50 dollars to 100 dollars less now. Just saying worth getting it. All 4080 supers are within that amount and it's still an asus stric so it can still be pushed further then others due to the colling and the high end capacitors and vrm. So yeah enjoy getting a deal! I found one for 1029. Which is probably the lowest I've ever seen a strix 4080 super gp for. Even the none oc is still usually 1200 to 1250. While the OC has been averaging around 1300 to 1400. I will say I wish I got the white one but hey it's such a beautiful card I guess it doesn't really matter. Lol

Yeah non OC in any card is harder to find 😅 brands want that extra money 💰 lol As for binning, I was referring to the ROG STRIX having better binning vs the lower tier cards. Whether it’s OC or not, the STRIX would have the best of the best

@FIREWOLFTECH yeah I can agree with that for sure! I hate this new era of charging more for oc when all it is. Is a flash that takes them a minute that we can do ourselves. It is nothing else now. Like you said just a way to get extra money. They just randomly throw nome OC out like 5% of the time and go see we have one a little lower priced. Lol
