I've never owned an Alienware, but when I was shopping around it was between this and an Alienware I picked this. The Alienware was more expensive, this had the same specs. I'm really happy with this.

Yup. I have been able to play everything I've tried so far on max settings. I had to turn Post FX down on Far Cry 3 though. That knocked me down to about 35-40 fps.

I have had other gaming laptops before this, and I would suggest this over any other brand I've had.

Which model of G75 do you have? I just got mine last week and LOVE it!

i amazoned and save a whole lot of money. but the difference between g75 and g55 was huge on money, about 1000$ more or less. also the only difference was your has gtx 670m, mine is 660m. btw what makes the game lag is physx. getting it medium or low make everything at max runs smootly.

i got the g55vw, and the game struggles on ultra :c i am dissapoint a bit. and crysis 1 is up to some ultra other high settings (all 1080p)

I'm seriously wondering in buy this asus too.. but i need you to tell me.. is this laptop able to run the most games in high config? i mean, HD text, v-sync on, all max settings? can i run games like skyrim, crysis 3, in ultra hd def? the price is too high here in brazil, so i need to be informed. ty! If you're only getting 10-20 fps maxed out, something is seriously wrong with yours.
