Hello! I have a "new"( 2022 December) B1400C laptop (corei5,intel iris XE,, 24GB ram). I use it usually for internet browsing and watch movies. But my battery only lasts for 3 or maximum 4 hours. Windows 10 OP. What dou you think what causes this short running time ? The manufacturing date matters for the battery liftime? MFD: 2021. 07. I bought it in 2022. december. Hello ! Te exit of the hot air is masked by the opening of the screen and I think that this laptop must heat up a lot especially in summer. What do you think of this observation before I decide to buy it?

I agree with you but for some reason there is still enough space for the heat to dissipate and the machine does not overheat because of that.

How do you access that advanced sound/eq panel where you can switch between the different audio modes?

You have to open ASUS dts and if you don't have that software you have to install it from the ASUS website

Do you have an annoying sound produced by air flow of fan ventilation? my laptop si brand new in case you suggest is produced by dust.

Its part of the drivers and utilities. Just disable it for better sound

on the asus site they say the keyboard has lights in it.. i don't se eit.

There are different models but this is not one of them with the backlit keyboard

The laptop I unbox does not normally stay with me but I know the person who is using this one and they are very happy with it. The battery life on it is very good and they have no overheating issues

Restart in safe mode then create another user and login with that user and that should fix your problem

Have you checked it with type c charger? Does this port support laptop charging?

Depending on what you had but this laptop and all new laptops are really fast because of the new processors and ssd drives. This one also felt really fast and easy to use.

Same to my laptop in which I am watching this vidio and writing this comment.....

These are, in our opinion, a much better build quality than most budget laptops out there. We sell quite a few of them and no comebacks yet. Almost any expertbook is like that. It is a good range.

Good laptop. Well built and performing excellent in our clients office setup. They travel and do accounting for lots of companies.

The design is good but the lab to acdenit very much and find repair alot

Is this i5 ?? Any heating issue??

i5 yes and no heating problems so far. The laptop is on a desk in a office.
