Most of the Pakistani people know of Tekken since the age of 7 or 8 so I'm guessing it's the same for them and it's all because of Tekken 3 it's still played in the arcades of Pakistan

Many people start from tekken 3 but it's just casual .. arslan said he started playing seriously in tekken 6.. so about 10-12 years

Guys, what is the weakness of Asuka? What makes her not a top tier? I'm trying to figure out how to beat her and take advantage of some weaknesses if any. She has a bunch of OP moves it feels like

Most asuka players are complete noobs so just chill and wait till they wiff and then punish

Horrible tracking except very slow moves like ff3 and she can be particularly unsafe because her panic tools(basically her strength) like cancans, reversals etc have short range & bad tracking/can be baited and heavily whiff punished. Worst 10 frame punisher in the game doesn't help her. Many hitbox issues/ intentional range issues e.g on her 1+2/d1+2 mixup where the risk reward becomes skewed against her especially with chars like kuni/zafina/marduk. Whiff punishment is no longer considered a unique strength for her since almost everyone except maybe Anna does that well. Reversals can be chickened. Despite this she has extremely high combo damage and controls some matchups really well(Steve, Williams, akuma) while others she has no chance (Julia,fakhumram,Alisa,kuni,zafina). So she's kinda polarized in that way which is unlike your typical decent Tekken 7 character

very weak to side step, short rage, slow low moves, bad movement, worst 10f punish in the game, 12f punish is -18f~19f on block, her jab is the only one that is -2 instead of +1 if am not mistaken. just learn to punish b3 and f2 and use side steps. also if your character has a weapon or good knees&elbow move you already won.

Well, she is one of the most safe characters and has more panic moves than everybody in the game and she is top 20 on tier list and has one of the best rage drives too and one of the best whiff punishers. But Just like everybody, she has weakness like a really bad jab and pretty bad punishers. But everything depends on the way you are playing against an asuka player, you Just need to learn the way your oponent fights.

As an Asuka player i agree with you, her strenghts lie in her "cheap" moves (b3 is good, can can on a read, reversal i think should be nerfed, like make chicken more rewarding, but i also understand that nerfing her, a somewhat decent character in pro levels, could have some repercussions, i mean there are busted characters to be addressed.) and her being very safe, both strenghts don't really give her an edge in high level play. Finally, if someone doesn't rely too much on those "cheap" moves, "clean tekken" as arslan himself mentioned, there is a whole truckload of way better characters.
