I'm planning on being in a dance team but by seeing I CANT DO THIS STUFF...I'm going start following my dreams with soccer or band....

This doesn't look like hip hop to me. It looks like poms without the Pom poms

+예리의 음악 You would never see moves like this in Pom. Pom is about using movements to create a visual effect. Hip Hop like this is more about the moves themselves. You wouldn't put this much attitude in a poms dance.

It's not technically Pom but I definitely understand what you are saying. This performance seemed more like something for cheer, like a hip hop themed cheer performance so definitely a mix of hip hop style but put into a cheer performance

When you imagine hip hop you imagine break dancing and popping. This is in fact hip hop. People have gotten so used to the "typical hip hop" moves that they forget about these ones😂

I feel like they were cheering just to be cheering. There were genuine wow moments and they're overshadowed by the constant "wooh get it Rosie!" and not acknowledging how well put together this routine is

Well, I'm a dancer and when you are performing or competing and you hear cheering from the crowd, it means you're doing something right. It's amazing to hear it while you are doing something you love. Also, when you do a routine to the best of your ability, it's nice to feel appreciated. It is encouragement, and it feels amazing to have people who encourage you.

Sarah Childress yes, you applaud at the end of the performance, you dont scream & yelp like banshees throughout the performance. it just takes away from the production, if you are a serious professional performer. its silly really.

well, I for one love to hear cheering and screaming because it means we are doing good and it encourages us to do better. Also, a lot of the times its not just screaming its yelling for us to do something we might of just changed and we didnt have a lot of time to perfect. So no, it isnt silly, if you were a dancer who performs and competes in front of thousands of people you would understand. we all have our opinions and that is yours, i respect it but i know it helps a lot to hear good feedback from the crowd.

this is the biggest goal of mine to be on the dance to and compete hip hop, jazz and omg my coach for pom rn should've went to asu ahhhh!!!

I know I'm very late, but everyone needs to shut up about how "they look like they are cheerleading." You guys killed it and for these competitions you have to be 100% insync. So no, it doesn't look like a casual hip hop free for all, BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT COMPETITION. They were awesome. The one trick in the middle with the push up and people laying down was kinda awk and not impressive but this was posted like 3 years ago so i'm sure everyone has learned and moved on. BUT STOP HATING ON THEM. They are awesome.
