Damn... Astrotrain's death is pretty depressing if you think about it- having to live with all that guilt after seeing many of your people fall and continue trying to desperately escape for your own safety while trying to heal from the things you've witnessed and tend to severe wounds whilst continually being on the run..he must of REALLY felt horrible for not being able to come in time to save or even help Starscream and Megatron just even a little.. His last words too, must of been him finally and hopelessly breaking, giving in as he goes offline with no one there to help him.

This theory makes a lot of sense when you really think about it. Why would subway rails be running if the city were under attack, unless for evacuation which wouldn't be very effective, so having a rogue subway train roaming around the city looking for autobots to slay makes a lot of sense.

He should transform into an underground subway train so he can travel around places underground and a cargo plane so he can transport his decepticon fellows place to place by air(maybe he would have an epic battle with Stratosphere). Another thing though: Astrotrain: Well I should be the decepticon leader since I carry your butts around places.°Walks away° Starscream:Heh, a school bus thinks that he should be the leader. Soundwave:HaHa. The wheels on a train goes round and round, round and round, round and round. Starscream and Soundwave:HAHAHAHHAHAHA. Feels familiar???

Astrotrain had it real tough, he thinks bee killed Starscream, sees all his friends' signals go down as Optimus deletes them, and sees his leader get killed, and then dies by a rouge. Thats sad. Rewatching the first scene with Astrotrain, he was going forward when bee arrived, then the next shot, he was going backwards further backing the theory that he was retreating

I honestly liked Astrotrain since his appearance in the 80s. So seeing a lot of the characters I grew up with die hit rather hard, the final straw being Onslaught. At least with Blitzwing in the Bumblebee movie, he went out in a blaze of glory instead of like a bitch. I fear though that with all these Combaticons being killed in the Bay films that we won't see Bruticus on the big screen now. To my knowledge, the only surviving Combaticons now are Vortex, Swindle, and Blastoff. Brawl and Onslaught both met their ends in the Bay films (Brawl dying in the 2007 film and Onslaught dying in The Last Knight). I fear they may kill Swindle or Vortex next since I loved those two immensely (I always played them in Rise of the Dark Spark along with Dragstrip. What can I say? I'm a man who likes the classics).

With Astrotrain being one of my favorite Transformers, I'm very surprised. I think they should've made a toy for him.

Fun Fact: Astrotrain survived lockdown's attack and escaped and would later turn into a different train that was shown when Tessa was walking by the train and Astrotrain was safe till transformers the last knight where he would encounter Trench and the two have a fight to the death where trench launches his arm at Astrotrain knocking Astrotrain's head off clean

According to the tfwiki thundercracker was gonna appear in dotm, and participate in the Chicago war, if he did appeared in dotm I want him killed by sentinel prime (he would be a protagonist), in aoe he gets reborned to scourge by unicron and in the sequel to tlk scrouge gets killed by kup

Wow,well done,when I was a kid ,I always wondered could the train transform ,I swear to God I had a weird feeling about it,also If the cons was around the global that means con are coming to Chicago, but when Megatron died he probably warned the incoming Decepticons telling them to run and fallback abd Hide Damn Bay is a genius, probably. Isn’t Astrotrain in the cartoons a triple-changer? If the movie is going to reference the same name, then Astrotain’s other form other than a train is a Decepticon transport ship, one that transports Decepticon troops. What if, instead of relying entirely on the rails as a train, he gathered remaining team survivors and took off into space in a transport ship to lick their wounds and call back to Earth whenever they heard from any more survivors? This could still tie in to meeting with Lockdown, who guns down all the troops as well as Astrotrain on a distant planet before Lockdown heads to Earth, but that depends on IF Lockdown found Astrotrain first, or headed straight to Earth for Optimus first, thus possibly leaving Astrotrain as well as some fellow Decepticon alive.

I hope we get to see Astrotrain in the new continuity. I’m very curious to see what either of his alt-modes would look like in live action

I was really looking forward to this Hidden Decepticon in DOTM video when you announced it on that schedule video on upcoming uploads. Because of his troop carrier function from his vehicle modes, Astrotrain is my favorite triple charger Transformer. -So Astrotrain was the subway train in the scenes where Starscream's and Megatron's death happened?!….. well it make a lot of sense now that I think about. Why would a subway train still be activate in a alien invasion? -The Decepticons invaded and took over Chicago, most(not all) of the city's power for buildings and public transports like subways are cut off, and even if one train was still activate, those Decepticons would shoot at it just like any moving vehicles that doesn't have a Decepticon signal, thinking it's human activate. So yea, why would a subway train still be activate? Because it's a Decepticon in disguised. -Great Transformers Theory video on Astrotrain, on how he got to Earth, his involved in Chicago when the Autobots came back, and his death afterwards. I really wish that he was fully put the live action movies. I do like the cybertronian character you use for Astotrain. -Some viewers might go to all of the clips of Starscream's and Megatron's deaths and post a comment saying "Yeah look that subway train in the background, that's Astrotrain!" XD. All joking aside, those death scenes will never to be seen the same way again, theoretically because we know now that it's Astrotrain.
