Hello! I'm Erwin, I'm from Transylvania Romania, Hunedoara. I was born in this small steel town called Eisenmarkt, in German, Vajdahunyad in Hungarian, which is my native language. Coincidentally, I subscribe to your You Tube channel, I adore astrology from the bottom of my heart. I studied it for about 4 and a half years. The only problem was what kind of houses to use, and being a native Aquarius, with the northern node in Scorpio, also there in Scorpio is the rebel Uranus! 🙂 The second problem for me was that the time of birth is wrong from the medical file of the hospital, so I took my intuition and do what I do, I can not find an ascendant, because I find myself in both : both Aquarius and Pisces. Now I know it's wrong, the ascendant is only in one zodiac sign. I found you on your blog, took your phone number, and saved it, you got what I noticed on Whatsapp, right ?! Could you help me clear my mind for a few minutes ?! Astrology is not easy at all. So, the time at the hospital is wrong, I had a correction made by an astrologer from Romania. The problem is that after the rectification was made, it came to me to tell her such a strange hour from what I asked Mom, the Astrologer said after the rectification, it's 7:15 in the morning, I said that Mom knows something, just that he doesn't know the exact time, it's not a pharmacy! 🙂 Finally, can I look for you on Whatsapp for a few minutes ?! We have a difference of opinion here about what's comfortable..I run hot so I like 62-64 F and love to sleep with a window cracked open for fresh air. We have the wood furnace running right now and it is 73 - I'm melting.

Studying astrology is something that I kept on my list as more of a future project for me to work on, but a few days after listening to your podcast, I realize that I can pick this up any time I want as long as I can make time for it. I don't know if you've tried reading any books on the matter after getting your birth chart read, Erin, but if you know of any that can be helpful for beginners, I'd appreciate any recommendations. The only thing that I find would be difficult with using an online resource for my chart is not knowing the exact time of my birth because it took place in a different country 28 years ago...

I got the book called 'the only astrology book you'll ever need' and it's really good for reading about all of the different elements and pieces that make up a chart! Kinda like an astrology dictionary

I'm two days in to astrology in my parapsychology schooling. Your sun sign is what sign the sun was in when you were born, it's different than your sign. Most ppl don't know their sun sign.

I vaguely remember seeing something last year that there's 13 signs and the sign I always thought was mine was wrong, what are your thoughts on this?

Yes I've heard of that! There are actually tons of different constellations up there, I'm not too sure how to feel about the whole 13 signs thing... I kind of like to go by the original 12 as that's how it's been done for a really long time :)

Some people think astrology is the "devil's work" 🙄 but I see it as a "road map" of different areas in your life. I used to study astrology and birth charts about a decade ago but i want to go back and study it. I want to do a chart for my husband so thank you for that resource of the birth chart. 💕

They say that because astrology has roots in the occult. Ex-astrologers will attest to that themselves. I recommend looking up Doreen Virtue here on YT (one of the most renowned astrologers of her time) to hear her story about why she left it and how she encourages people to burn her old books.

@@melindamercier6811 I'll look into it but astrology isn't anything occult. It's Christianity that calls it the "devil's work" because people don't understand it. It's similar to astronomy: it references the planets and how their energy affects us. If the moon phases affects the tides, animals and people, shouldn't the planets?

I get that everyone's beliefs are different, but to me, calling astrology "the devil's work" just sounds stupid. It's sad that not everybody is open-minded enough to understand or recognize the different ways that people live or learn about life.

@@amyhoover9 I agree. I've heard many people call it that because they claim that's what the bible says. But knowledge is power, and if we can use astrology for the good then we should use it. :)
