Its too bad that those late 90s teams didnt do more. They always either ran into the Braves triple threat pitching or Kevin Brown in 98. Bagwell, Biggio, Hampton, Wagner all in their prime with a rookie Lance Berkman in 99.

I agree, it was so frustrating watching them lose in 98 and 99. I thought for sure in 98 when they had Johnson for the 2nd half of the season that they would go farther than they did.

Gotta love John Rocker, god I miss Maddux, Smoltz, and Glavin..It was a great time to be a teenager and early 20's in Atlanta in the 1990's, and we all took it for granted. Now our once great city is more yankee than southern, the baseball team sucks, the players all speak spanish, but at least the stadium is finally moving out of the ghetto.

It is not a useless dome. So Catface where are you from, probably a place that doesnt even have a stadium. I am a native Houstonian and love the Dome more than Reliant or Minute Maid Park. I went to almost every game in the Dome but I have never been to Minute Maid Park since the Astros or Minute Maids went there.

As a Braves fan, I feel very proud that the final game at the Astrodome ended in a Braves postseason series victory. Sorry, Astros fans.
