I was wondering since you live in Ireland, would you not get in trouble for not having reflectors on the back of your car since NCT tests carry out reflector tests as well?

Mohamud haroon reflectors are at the bottom of the bumper. Passed NCT twice with them.

Thanks for making this video. I wanted to see them in action before I made my decision. I agree they look really nice. It's a shame the break LEDs are so discrete. Iv seen someone say these will only work the the GTC model. Do you know if these would work in a 2008 3 door VXR? I live in the UK if that makes any difference.

they should work with all 3 door gtc hatches. shouldnt imagine the wiring been any different

+MattDarez ah well i brough the car to a place that sells motorhomes because they had the resistors i need for the led indicators and they installed them.

+Shane Earley You know what resisters they used? If I know that I can get my dad to give me a hand getting them to work.

MattDarez just checked and they are just standard resistors for 12 volt use. Part number is LR12 if thats any use to you.

I wonder if u could swap lights with my celica lights :-D

Did you sort the problem of the fast flashing indicators? Thinking of getting these for my vxr

sanane I'm not sure to be totally honest, the man I went to had resistors in stock and put them in for me. I think if you go to your local Opel dealer they should be able to tell you.

Does it matter if you don’t get resistors and just leave it as it is? Only thing ill have to get used to is the fast indicator lol. Pretty sure this only does this when the car isn’t running btw

Well the left and right indicators will hyper flash due to the change in voltage so unless you want that I’d get the resistors.

@@ShanesAutos Wdym hyper flash I don’t them blowing up if that’s what you mean but I just checked. When the car isn’t running the indicators when pressed flash quickly BUT when the cars actually running they’re as normal so I don’t see a problem cos you aren’t gonna indicate stationary so lol 😂

@@ShanesAutos ok thanks. As I said when the cars running I don’t have the issue. Only when it isn’t running it flashes quickly. I just hope nothing goes wrong lol. But why would I indicate stationary so that isn’t an issue

Do these for any Astra or vxr's only ?

Off eBay. No only the three door GTC model as its tail lights are a different design to the five door hatch.

Ege Sevindi bought them off eBay. Hard to find them for the 3 door Astra now but there’s a good few available for the 5 door hatchback
