Alonso getting P2 or P3 in every race in formula 1 gives Aston Martin a Stocks pump ! And create value for the brand !

With every chance that Alonso COULD finish 2nd in this 2023 championship, come seasons end, assisted by Red Bull with their own handicapping of their own No 2 driver Perez.

Lawrence Stroll has a history of turning companies into gold. It appears he is now doing the same thing with Aston Martin in both the road cars and the Formula One team. I wouldn’t bet against him. The man is a force of nature.

It certainly help that Lawrence Stroll is a bona fide motorhead.
Aston Martin is the coolest car brand out there. Really great to see them doing so well. The DB12 is sensational.

Not with plain old V8 engines (except even less exciting than in cars like Camaros and Mustangs or BMW 5-series...) and the same exact touchscreen interiors that everyone else has. And not while going bankrupt (again, as usual).

Aston Martin thanks to Lawrence Stroll's entrepreneurship and "Chutzpah" is on fire. The F1 team in just couple years has been challenging the top teams. Geely's investment in Aston Martin is a huge move because it will open the Chinese market which is the number 1 car market.

Geely/Chinese aim to take over Aston Martin in the long run, they already own 51 % lotus 82% Volvo Proton etc etc……. These people are beginning to dominate everywhere…….properties , shareholders on anything/everything, controlling/owning certain ENTIRE ports; the west’s profiteering by buying their inferior lookalike/knock off cheaper poor quality goods to make their own profits is what has helped put China in the strong financial position she is in today. Shame on you, entrepreneurs, you contributed to China’s increasing power of today……..and your‘couldn’t have foreseen’ answer is inadequate.
As Mercedes grew with their F1 success I believe Aston Martin will grow exponentially

Good to see Aston making interesting desirable products while still looking cool in that Aston Martin way. Lawrence is doing a fantastic job too.

Answers are straight to the point, no going around
Put the db12 interior in the dbx and you’ll outsell every premium suv
I’m pretty sure this growth can be attributed to his real son, Alonso getting podium after podium😂
the new interior of db12 is the game changer i think...now actually competes
I adore Aston Martin. British brand and engineering expertise in beautiful cars (apart from the DBX)
How does someone buying stock in a company increase proceeds???
best decision to hire alonso.
Alonso is smashing Stroll
I was expecting him to praise his son Fernando Alonstroll
One of the most interesting people to hear talk
It’s ironic by the time Aston build the DB12 they drop the v12 engine… what a shame, but hopefully a better modern competitive car for it…

Had Lawrence Stroll decided to sideline his son in favour of Sebasian Vettel, the combination of Alonso and Vettel as Aston Martin drivers would have gotten every single F1 fan to talk about this lethal combination of drivers!
I see it up 85% by september and 150% by January. Geely will double down its share purchase before year end. I know this for a fact.🎉
Mr Lawrence Stroll you are a Gentleman and Scholar and as alway’s you deliver straight down the line with your wealth of knowledge on the truth and the facts and the technology that will give Aston Martin the edge now and in to the future with a touch of British Class and Heritage that just like your Racing Team’s will take you straight to victory my good man! I would like to also Congratulate you on being the Executive Chairman of Aston Martin!
To sum up in one word: ALONSO
Awesome, well deserved
look at that bumper gap!!!!!

Vamos Fernando!
Fernando alonso is why
Let's not forget that over 5 years as of today the shares are down 97.99% and in the last 3 years this company has lost more than a billion $. Way to go stroll.
Anything to do with F1?
I bought a bunch of stock when Tobias Moers was appointed. He left. I am at -80%. Hodl
Wish they’d make their own engines rather than running off to AMG but I guess that’s never going to happen. Hopefully they’ll invest some of that Geely money on the Vantage, it never looked right to me and it’s interior is even worse than that of the old DB11.

They literally still sell some models with their own engine. But now they're phasing that out due to unbelievably incompetent strategic decisions which led them right into a dead end with that engine. They had to sink in so much money into the next gen of the Mercedes mass-produced ordinary V8 that they now can't invest into developing the V12 to keep it, and to keep their top-luxury status.
@enigmatwist6548
Жыл бұрын
@@pistonburner6448 They blitzed huge sums of money on the Valkyrie with its complex suspension and bespoke hybrid engine. It looks like a fantastic car and everything but I can’t help but think it was a crying shame that they didn’t invest in the bread and butter models over their vanity project. They probably could have sorted their interiors and sat nav out ages ago and had enough left over for their own V8 or whatever. However to survive the ban on combustion cars they’ll need the support of third parties and I’d rather they partnered with AMG than Geely so I guess there is some logic to the arrangement. Plus the cost of buying engines from AMG is significantly cheaper than the ruinous cost of developing a new engine.
@pistonburner6448

@@enigmatwist6548 Why on Earth would they want to have their own V8? They already have their own V12! They burned a lot of money on Valhalla, having to switch engines half way through, then they still had to spend a lot of money on that Mercedes V8 (which people will not pay as much money for). And they've wasted a lot of money on them overall, as they had to switch to the new version of the Merc V8s! That too is a lot of work...in addition to the vast sums they have to pay Merc for them. They could've updated the V12 instead, and gotten rid of the hugely expensive Mercedes relationship which they have to pay a lot for in general and in addition per car! Why pay *_your competitor_* for engines?! Why would anyone pay for V8 Aston Martins? They're WORSE than BMW's sedans in every measurable way! Finally basically all their competitors got rid of V12s and _that's_ when the 'geniuses' of Aston Martin decided to get rid of their V12: just when they would've had an almost totally unique selling point which others don't have!

@pistonburner6448 you just referenced a BMW sedan V8? Alright, so the typical response from someone who has never owned an Aston designed/built engine... they are far more reliable than BMW V8s, have tons of tuning/modding potential, and oh yeah... track pedigree such as a dry sump system to actually handle track duties.
Thanks to Fernando Alonso

two words, FERNANDO ALONSO.
Stroll is coming from luxury clothing it and it is very obvious he is applying the knowledge learned there to F1
Good luck finding parts after 5 years. What these sportscar manufacturers do is create parts for a small period then stop so their client will buy the newer products. Just like Apple but at $300,000 play money
With Lance' countless Crashes Yes AMR is getting popular
alonso should ask for a raise tbf
Well the guy knows how to pitch stuff… that’s pretty clear…
Say and believe what you like but nobody gets to that level of wealth without a good business mind. As crap as every British car has and still is, Stroll will turn AM into a world brand. No under valuing Alonso’s achievement in selling the car on Monday that did well over the weekend. HUGE impact. Lance is just having fun sponsored by something his dad is also enjoying, can’t fault that.
Yes it's great for Aston Martin right now.? will it be good for the long-term.gee le might be the most westernized company but🎉 they are still based in China and look what they did to Jack Ma of Alibaba. How so? DBX isn't the success it should be, multiple projects needed to be delayed and cancelled, basically all their product line is old and watered down (they even had to give up their signature and top-of-the-line V12s in the new DB12 model and use the cheap, mass-produced, totally ordinary Mercedes unit instead)... They just had to sell out a large proportion of themselves to China and hope the Chinese can save them! What could be better proof that they themselves know they're not going to end up doing well?! Selling out to China is always the ultimate sign of total failure (though Aston only sold part of itself so not total yet...), as that shows that even Western companies don't want to pay for you.

Yeah, the F1 team is on fire thanks to Alonso's consistency in getting podiums after 7 races in 2023. Alonso is carrying most of the total points of the team on his back. Lance, not so much.
