Like in the ancient tooth-worm notion lasting millenia that tooth caries was due to a worm the present asthma theory about treating asthma with medication is wrong and we have the asthma-paradox that more medication causes more asthma. In other cultures mudras such as pressing a finger against the thumb (chin mudra) are used to treat asthma by relaxing our lung airways. Christian prayer with interlaced fingers is the ambuja mudra.

As per GINA 2019 In step 1 Now days as needed SABA has been replaced by As needed low dose ICS-Formoterol....

@@glitzyx4x852 according to SYGMA1 trial, isolated SABA is inferior to low dose Budesonide and Formoterol combination, so the guidelines has been changed on GINA 2019
