    I dont a bigger religion in love but that God sent his own son to die on the cross and pay for our sin. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. Through faith in him when God looks at us he sees his righteousness. He died and lived for love. But I understand some people seem like they hate, but thats not everyone.

    I grew up in a lower class family and watching your videos never felt upsetting or diminishing. It is hard sometimes to accept that some are born privileged and some are born struggling, I mean emotions are here. But you are so raw and sincere that your status never felt aggressive and I'm always so happy to follow you because I realized how similar we can be despite finances.

    Crossing 30 is amazing. I am 35 now and I still feel like 25. It is amazing. Growing up I never wanted to be this woman after 30 looking boring and old. It is all an inside job; what you think about yourself and how you treat yourself. Staying positive about the self is so important and never stress about the time is ticking for having children. With all the improvements in medicine and the knowledge we have we are getting older and healthier ,so we can also give birth later than it was centuries ago. Just my opinion on that topic. Xoxo 😘

    35 is not old at all I would say you really hit maturity in your mid 40's where things do change like mentally then and physically then when you were 20's or 30's. It is said that every 12 years a human hits a reset button. a lot of people say that the real fun of life begins once you enter into your 40's anyway you got plenty of time until then as well.

I think there is this misconception that people should be ashamed for having a privileged upbringing but instead you should be proud of all your parents achieved. And most importantly you are an independent, intelligent, entrepreneur who used everything that was given to you to create your dreams.

    Dear Amelia, Now I am 39. When I was 29 I was thinking that my younger life is over. That was the most stupidest thing. I love my 30 . I prefer my 30 then my 20. The life is much more full and interested in these years. In your 30 you now exacly what you want and you don't waste your time. The 20 are more difficult and confusing. So be very grateful that you turn 30 soon. Wish you luck 🙂

    One thing i loved about this video is how you tackled the real questions.. another thing about the wedding question i felt like that was a bit rude to assume by someone that you won't get married but none the less i personally feel at the end of the day it doesn't even matter how long you have known the person that you want to get married its all about destiny. So take your risks because all choices have their own consequences and enjoy the present :) 💕

    As someone who got married in my mid 30s and had kids late 30s, I’d say don’t worry about becoming 30 because it will be your best decade yet because your still gorgeous & care less about what people think (and you’re more mature so make a better parent). I am glad I waited to marry when I was meant rather than because I felt pressured even though I did feel the pressure coming from a similar cultural background as yours. What I’m trying to say is you’ll meet someone and settle down when you’re meant to since everything happens for a reason as they say 😘

    I’ve been in a family who was very privileged at one point to losing everything due to the 2008 financial crisis, so I know the difference between what’s looking tacky and tasteful in terms of showing wealth. You have portrayed your authentic experience in such a tasteful and elegant way and you should be credited for it.

  • @henniannariina5877

    @henniannariina5877

    3 жыл бұрын

    I almost commented earlier that she clearly acts more “old money”. Aka what is considered elegant and tasteful. I however sometimes wonder, why do people get hated for acting “new money”? If you have new money, well, then that is your authentic self! And I do believe we should all just aspire to be authentic (especially on social media channels that are specifically about us!) Just a thought. I myself tend to also veer towards the old money type of mindset and ideals, but sometimes I just question that whole framework, and wonder if in actuality it is even more pretentious, than the former. As if you are better than the rest, not only because you have more, but also because you were taught a certain etiquette around the fact that you have privilege -- something that those with "newer" money, or no money, may not have. Idk, I guess the answer is just to be yourself, and express the values that you were taught or what feels best and most honest to you. And that way, as an influencer, you will attract a crowd that is on a similar path with you, or at least wants to follow along and share emotions and experiences with you while you move along on your path. I think it is great to see variety in the types of influencers on KZread, as it is a representation of what is out there in the world. So.... much love to all those content creators who portray honest depictions of their lives for others to live aside by, enjoy even when directly unrelatable in circustance, and but also to relate to. This, I think is precisely the point of what this business should be about, and I think Amelia does this beautifully! Just like some others, who do so with perhaps a slight bit of less elegance.

    I used to assume anyone past the age of 25 was an 'ADULT' and had all their shit together and life and circumstance was pretty much on the tracks full steam ahead by that point. Then I suddenly realised I'm not actually 20 anymore. I'm 29 in a week which sounds SO old and as if I should have some semblance of who I am as a person when the reality is, I don't have a clue!!

    Haha exact same here, I just turned 30 a while back and I also still very much feel young inside! 😅🙈 it’s definitely a kind of internal tug of war to understand what’s what 😂 I do believe the right things will happen at the right times and we shouldn’t put ourselves under pressure.🧡 though of course it’s good to be grounded in reality and to do the mental work required to get to that place.. ☺️ well, at least in my case it’s been that way, because I’ve essentially had to do some mental catching up, because during my twenties, I was too preoccupied to fully grasp time passing, or what that perhaps meant. Omg I hope this doesn’t sound heavy, I definitely didn’t mean it to, I think 30 is still young and we definitely need to keep focusing on ourselves and living our best lives. 💕 only that way can we feel fully ready to have a family, I think! And of course to find a suitable partner, I think is easier not only once we are more mature and understand more about ourselves, but also when we are truly living in ways that reflect the truth of who we are... 🙂 apologies for such a monologue haha, sending love!

How can someone “break in” to the fashion world without having access to that?

    I so agree with you about gift giving. My family also doesn't show love by giving gifts, especially at a particular time. However, if we come across something that we know someone would love and appreciate we just purchase it and give it to that person. There is no special time for giving a gift. We show love in many others ways.

    To feel like 20 when you will turn 30 is normal. I feel like 20 turning 52 soon and my father says he feels like 20 (brainwise unfortunately not bodywise) turning 85 this year. Do not worry about getting married at a certain age. I always though that I would be married and have 2 children at around 30. In the end, I got married at 49 and have not children as my husband and I met so late in life. But turns out we are very happy....so life happens while you make other plans. I think what makes what you share so enjoyable (wether it is a huge home, luxury goods or lavish holidays) is how warm and close you seem with everyone you share it with, it never seems like you are showing off and it never makes me feel lesser. Your personality is absolutely what has carried your career and content, anyone can show fancy things but not everyone makes it as fun, insightful and warm as you. I like your content a lot if you couldn't tell lol. Btw as a latinx woman I really enjoy when you share your culture and how you don't try to assimilate to brittish culture.
