Thanks young sir , your insight into this is invaluable. I only just discovered about the safety rating on ACC having only just started sim racing at the age of 68 . Against AI is the only way. I'm getting there slowly, but made the mistake of entering a 'Noobs' lobby and some guy that spun out of Eau Rouge was sat stationary on the track and as I went past he deliberately powered into the side of me, knocked me out, and affected my SA. So don't be tempted to go into public no-rating Lobbies.

hey kie. why does i loose about 5 sec in the pit against the AI? only tyre change in the „story“-mode. i let the engine start, and the pit limiter in Automatic... greets from switzerland, dont forget to reggae! 😜

@@thekie25 I'll try. I'm still running on XBOX OG and there the last version it's 1.7.2. I don't know if this will also affect the "rooms" available for me but I still enjoy playing in consoles.

hmm... i tried that and i gain 1 or 2 points per 10 minutes race.. with 0 incidents.. overtaking 20 cars cleanly each time..

I just wanted to ask if this actually works, because the max what I can get in a race of 20 minutes is 3 points (it happened once. 99% is 2). I'll try this later.

Thanks man! I think you can also take a car that is faster than the Rest. That way you can drive next to other cars easier, especially on the straights.

I think FFB is on the same page where you can tune button assignments. At least i found it for G29 but i have to readjust as I've made the steering to heavy now.

Thanks for the great vid kie! However, I think they’ve changed how SA calculated. I’ve done two races closely with AI but only got 1 point increase in SA

Yes they changed it awhile back

I was at 90 then I went to hotlap and tried to get 99 with the track stars but dropped on like 78

definitely agree on the ai. part of this.. It truly is something else.

Just need assetto corsa to fix the wheel setting for trustmaster t500rs now then I can play the game!

Frame rate at night was good, only at Spa Eau Rouge a drop, reported it

Thanks for the video! I will certainly use this to gain SR quickly. You did actually get a point taken away in the first race as well at @5:25 when you had that little contact. It said so on the bottom right. So I guess we need to avoid the tiny taps as well if possible :)

Yep 100% but in these conditions you will still gain lot even with slight contact 👍

I ran 3 races like this and got 3 points not 10, am i missing something.

How can I unlock safety rating

1 point for a 20 min race go to multiplayer and ramming idiots will take 2 points off.

They really need to change this riddicillous system, when somebody drives in to you.

I was trying all day going from 43 to 80 safety rating I spent mos of my day racing in day time and only got 62 fuck me why I didint saw this video early

It is now not working anymore. Playing ACC 1.9 v on XSX only 1 point per race in rain at night.

You need to make sure you have built up the other rating that come before it like pace etc or it will take longer 👍 once you have the rating that are before over 50 then do this 👍

Anyone else bothered by the super bright, super high contrast, super saturated colors? The rev meter is a particular eyesore. It looks like a flash game.

No way to reduce the brightness of the dash? I thought it dimmed automatically?
