"Assessment of vision & common eye problems in horses," presented by Dr. Kelly Knickelbein, recorded Tuesday, March 15 via Zoom.
In this Equine Seminar Series presentation, the Cornell Equine Hospital is excited to introduce you to Kelly Knickelbein, VMD, who recently joined our ophthalmology department and will be presenting on assessment of vision and common eye problems in horses.
Dr. Kelly Knickelbein is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Rhinebeck Equine and a comparative ophthalmology internship at the University of California-Davis. Following this, she completed a residency in comparative ophthalmology at UC Davis. Dr. Knickelbein is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists.
Dr. Knickelbein thoroughly enjoys the comparative nature of ophthalmology. Her primary interests include equine ophthalmology, heritable ocular disorders and ophthalmic imaging.
Cornell's Equine Hospital, the New York State 4-H Horse Program and Cornell Cooperative Extension are proud to host the Equine Seminar Series: monthly talks presented by equine experts on important equine health and management topics. The seminars are free to attend and open to the public.
