By the way the reason for the clear drop tank pylons is actually very simple - the real things were clear! TO mode laccurately you'd need to have the plumbing and bolts visible on the pylon.

Thanks and yes I did see some pictures and this was indeed a surprising revelation for me. Still debating the viability of having such glassy hardpoints in real life. One bullet hit and the glass might shatter dropping the tank miles below.

That kit is a beauty. I would sell my first-born child for that,
