    Yea that suspension has 0 sag. far far far too stiff of springs. it should sag down a solid third of its suspension travel under its own weight. otherwise its not really doing anything.

    Was thinking the same thing. Or otherwise create a much more heavy body to add weight to allow the springs to carry the weight and lower the take off speed

    @@anthonywilliams852 this is like a $2,000 kit, you can start with a regular electric crawler, actually have a lot better performance for less than $500. This is expensive because it has a 4-stroke engine and is kinda niche

    Very cool! The rig could probably use for some softer springs, or maybe softer shock oil, but everything else is awesome!

    Man that's one sweet kit. Love the exhaust. I'm not done watching yet, but can't wait to see it run. I'd love to get this. I knew it wouldn't be long until they built an entire car. Brilliant. Also love the 3 piece wheels and bolt cover for the rims, to keep the sand/mud out. Very cool

    That's so cool man, love that it has working lights, the electric start, reverse, and how you fuel it up. Freakin awesome. I'd love to see the top speed and hear the gear change. Is it automatic or can you change the gears

    100 % trail truck and this running video is in freezing temperatures- shock fluid is thicker and operation is a little different

    Seems to be lacking a low speed crawling ability? Super awesome for sure, hopefully a low range transfer case, or a super low first gear can help with the low speed control because that would be super fun then.

    Cool build. Those tires don't look like they will work for much though, especially crawling. I'd also change the exhaust exit location. I'd be worried about hitting it on something where it currently is. Or just shorten it to get it closer to the frame.

    Wow! even on lowest gear that's the fastest crawler I've yet to see. Needs approx 10:1 gear reduction considering it still has 2 "faster" gears to switch to.

    Add some weights to the body and chassis to give more inertia. That will reduce bouncing and give better scale performance.

    A very nicely made kit! With this engine, it seems more suited as a offroad racer or rally car. For crawling it seems to need bigger wheels and less speed. But honestly, the noise would be too much for me, especially for crawling where I basically stand next to the car all the time.

    And if you want to upgrade anything, you basically have to throw the whole thing away, buy something good from RC4WD, and swap the engine into it.

    Chinese manufactured products are not inherently worse quality, it just so happens that most Chinese products fill the market niche of extremely cheap products. Which, obviously, is going to be low quality, but not because it’s Chinese, but because it’s cheap. This is a $1800 product, if you imply that even with that budget, the Chinese can’t possibly be skilled enough or intelligent enough to manufacture an acceptable product, then that’s a you problem.

    This is seriously cool. I have a Traxxas TRX-4 Defender, it has all sorts of nifty doo-dads, but it is still just electrically powered. The fuel powered one is so much neater, and more realistic sounding.
