Watching this has made me realize, the "Wolf's den" mission in the newer Modern warfare game is where you clear through a compound at night and the main building if the compound is set out extremely similar to this. Same style, rooms in same places ext. So it's only just occurred to me that the building in MW was based off of Osama's place

Everyone got distracted by Clean House when MW dropped and no one realised Wolf Dens was basically the same mission except it was OBLs compound

I literally thought the exact same thing as you, it’s like some kind of telepathy. Wolf’s den was my second favourite mission to clean house which in my opinion is the best mw campaign mission.

The game devs forgot the waifu pillows and anime porn.

If this is the exact layout then im realizing that MW2019 wolf den mission used the OBL House layout to some degree as well. (I know it was inspired by the event but i didnt realize they used the building layout as well)

It’s a very very close layout to the exact one, a few years back my family had a foreign exchange student who was from Pakistan and he said they actually use the compound that osama was killed in for vacation and party rentals 😂

@@MT-qu4tk He lied... The compound is demolished and has been for a few years now. After Bin Laden's death, the compound was heavily guarded by Pakistani military. The idea it was used for vacations or rentals is asinine.

@@firacingast well I’m 22 and we had the foreign exchange students from the time I was 12-17 so yea id agree that was a few years ago and it was only under guard by the military for a year and a half after osamas death and it was literally used for vacations and rentals before osama was reportedly there but you go ahead and believe something you read on the internet or seen on the news and I’ll happily believe the multiple, pictures, videos and story’s shown and told to me by people who have psychically been there

@@MT-qu4tk There's literally no reason to tell this lie. It was guarded by the military for less than a year because the building didn't even last a year after the raid. It was demolished 7 months after the raid happened. It was NEVER a rental property or anything of the sort. It simply never happened. You don't know what you're talking about and your exchange student played you for a fool. You never saw pictures of parties at that compound. I get you think this is a cool story and to someone who doesn't know better it probably would be. But this is one of the most high stakes raids of the 21st century. There's a LOT of people that know better.

@@firacingast I had a friend who was also a Pakistani exchange student and he said he rented the house for a few days while he visited his family and that he found some of osamas old doodles that he left behind.

I wish they would introduce randomized locked doors next, make the breaching aspect a little more like SWAT, but this new update feels great.

Man this is what is needed. Im currently looking at building apc for games like this because of the tac sim aspect of it. A much respect Devil for the content I remember the Marine Corps Mondays and the crazy stories you had. Keep it up brother

WOW they nailed it. I have actually built this compound in farcry3, farcry4, farcry5, and arma 3 as well as others. And because of that I have a detailed understanding of the compound from hours of research, they really nailed it here. It's pretty much identical.

So happy Ground Branch finally got an update, time to hop on CTE!

I like how they seem to have a not fucked reticle and it actually moves somewhat realistically within the glass

I wish more game devs would take notes from STALKER ai. They actually flank, ambush, hide, retreat, suppress, ect. Sometimes it can feel like you're actually fighting real players and end up in fights you literally cannot win solo. This game needs that badly. Literally 1 AI shot at you in the compound and it's because he was outside. There are so many angles in that house that should be used. Under the bed, shooting through a cracked open door, murder holes, ect. This is just sad. So many missed opportunities....

Man the game isn't finished and in constant development, v1032 is supposed to polish the animations, assets, maps, etc. The next update, v1033 will be about AI. Just be patient man.

The low ready and high ready mexhanics is so nice...immersive

It is hilarious that the small dev teams are making the big boys look like fools the majority players that play FPS want "realism, immersion and solid gameplay" probably because the smaller dev teams actually listen and engage with the community 😂

Seriously I just found out about Ground Branch and Ready or Not and this games are so good just because of great gameplay. Triple A games need to realize fancy graphics and name isn't enough to make me play something. Felt like a kid playing Ready or Not yesterday playing it none stop like I used to play MW2 or Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Good gameplay matters so much and these big companies just don't understand that.

I was missing those old 90's early 2000's tactical shooters like ghost recon and rainbow six where it was more about the missions planning and execution. They were brutally difficult and you had to be smart about how you played in order to complete the mission.

HAHAHA After the death sounds of Insurgency Sandstorm, shooting ai to death in games just feels lackluster.

Living in SE Asia the past 14 years, this reminds me of so many houses I’ve been in.

They need to make this level in Ready Or Not

Not sure if you know this yet but you can use key binds to toggle lights, lasers, and the magnifier which help with he realism and make it less clunky. Just wasn't sure if you knew, great video as always though

Sad that we can't kill the original boss of this map but it looks promissing i will have to reinstall this game for sure huge update and nice video .

@Great White yeah, MW even reenacts scenes from the movie, the exact same way portrayed in the movie. That we can't be sure if it actually was like that. And is cool. Shame I don't have a PC anymore and now they are super expensive here. Wish they could release on consoles

Looks good but I feel like the AI needs some work. Multiple enemy just looking at you for multiple seconds and not shooting, getting shot at and just standing still etc.

The game lets you fully tinker with the individual settings of the AI if the preset difficulties aren't to your liking. Stuff like how many degrees they can turn when reacting etc, how much they're allowed to miss when they first spot you. I think how long before they first start shooting you is even one of them.

So two big question and i know its closed testing but 1. Why aint ya doin it at night like the seals did and 2 doin ya have friends to game with to make your own devgu?

Call of Duty modern warfare has a campaign mission where after seeing this its very clear that they also remade Bin Ladens compound.

Till you got outside in the fields, it felt like the AI was barely shooting back despite ample opportunity. Still don't know how I feel about this game, I bought it a while ago and played it, was okay but needed work. Been hearing about this 1032 update for what feels like years now and now it's on the CTE, it kind of feels just "alright". Still some weird things like the gun popping back up in your face looks super jank and needs to be smoothed out. Of course, I get why its there before someone comments but going through tight interiors and having your gun instantly snapping up and down feels supper jarring. The animations for it look super stiff and need work. Also no Animation for toggling the magnifier is a little strange. Guess we'll see how it all turns out though as it is only the CTE.

Ground Branch is ridiculously cool. Worth it 100%. I haven't played in a little while, but you better believe I'm playing tonight lol.

I like all the shooter games but I wish they had more real world noise in the background. Gg

'Member in Rainbow Six Ravenshield where the ai would say "That's odd." when they heard you and "Who da?!" when they saw you? Back in the earliest Rainbow Six games the ai would just make an "Ooo Ooo!" sound lol.

One thing that bothers me is how the peq-15 gets in the way when using short sights (holos, red dots) unless i use a riser to make some clearance for the height

It’s realistic. That’s how the peq15 looks through an EXPS eotech. It’s even more amplified when using a non-E version eotech, an xps. The xps does not have the QD mount which means it sits even lower over the top of the rail.

@@Richardjohnson6969 I'd even add that in real life it's not a big deal because as a right handed shooter, your left eye would cover all the blocked area from the peq15. Unfortunately the videogame can't represent that so you get an obstructed view that hinders your ability when aimed down sight unlike in real life. I can cover my holo/rds and still use it because of 2 eyes open but I don't know how a videogsme could visually represent it unless you had vr
