Before anyone asks about the stealth: Concealing Veil makes me invisible outside of a set radius while crouching, and Furled Finger's Trick Mirror combined with my outfit make me look like a fuzzy bush/rock from certain angles. Yes, I was completely visible when they approached, but likely was slowly fading into view as I crouched, or that summon was spinning their camera around at the wrong time. This happens...a lot...on this build. When you're certain they've seen you: they haven't.

I've got some more well-edited compilations on the way. I've just finally decided to not be so picky about what could be standalone videos, whether shorter or around this length. 4:09 that swap to the bow, dodge into jumping alongside the host and shooting the hunter was so clean (even if not successful in killing him before the heal)

Imagine if the invasion system started with a map of the area and a marker showing where the host is and you get to choose where you spawn initially

Very creative, very trick and very nice fights

I love it. I think it's my most interesting build I've ever made in any of these games, however, if you aren't mentally ready to utilize literally everything it has going on then it can quickly devolve into mindless claw attack spam. Some days I'm just not feeling it and some days I am 😅

Did you ever figure out where those random heals were coming from? I've never seen that before.

Man I've been using Crimsonwhorl for a long ass time and this is the ONLY time I've seen it happen. Must be super rare, or super-specific circumstances.

What does assassin gambit actually do?

Id love to see this build remade with the venemous fangs and the serpent bow. The seprent bow on an arcane build can instantly poison anyone with a single shot from long distance.

How much arcane would you need to insta poison

Agree on the range and stagger for throwing knives. Perhaps the stagger portion is only for PVP. Fromsoftware as we know sometimes over-corrects to the point of making something useless in worse case or later patch to make it just right. The UGS crouch poke is an example of overtune both ways and now just at the sweet spot. Hopefully Flame of The Redmanes and Beast Jaw WA both get a slight poise boost next patch. As the nerf was in my opinion too heavy and specifically in PvE. Mind I'm for the nerf as two or three-shot any boss to get into a critical phase is way OP. The current though is overtune to make either useless for poise break vs mostly anything else. Be it better to use one of the Carian sorcery, Giant Hunt, Lions Claw, etc. My initial thoughts on a better tuned nerf were 4-5 for those two weapons Arts on said targets use to be 2-3. Then an additional for anything NG+7 gives or takes foes poise scaling. Currently, both are terrible if trying to use as poise break for the amount of FP. I'd be fine if the current nerf stayed for PVP and the slight tweak I suggested was only in PVE. To clarify I didn't even use either in my playthroughs. I did pathetically do prior unnerfed Moonveil and ROB. I have zero issues with those current state nerfs/adjustments.

status grease doesn't scale with arcane unless you put it on one of the ripple weapons that naturally scales with arc

Stats are about as basic Dex as you can get. Originally was pushing Arcane for Lifesteal Fist damage, but realized that magic buff (specifically, for some reason) increases the damage well enough. Plus, I didn't want to focus the whole build around such a shitty attack, and I also didn't want it to be purely a bleed build (although Bleed is a big part of it which makes me reconsider these days, haha).

I'm confused. How did they not see you?

Recreation that I tried is: Black hood and raptor's black feathers (both found in gael tunnel), preceptor's gloves and trousers( both found after a certain point of ranni's quest).

All knowing gaunlets is pretty hard to get pre RL60 so I opted for preceptor's gloves and pants

it could be that people were rating his messages that he's left down, iirc when someone rates your message it gives you a slight heal, but the amount he was getting is crazy

Cheat engine. Most content creators use it. Especially the pvp ones.

why do you get healed when they hit you several times in a row? there are multiple occasions through out the vid where you get free heals for no reason

Rare Crimsonwhorl bug. I was getting little heals throughout, and even some after using perfumes I think? Shit was weird. Never saw it again in like 1000 hrs.
