Assassin’s Creed Revelations was fairly underwhelming when compared to Assassin’s Creed 2 and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood; the first two games in the Ezio Trilogy.
While the graphics and combat were definitely a step up, the story through AC Revelations just wasn’t anywhere as good as AC2 and AC Brotherhood. Given that the story was easily my favourite aspect of the first two games, it’s hard for me to justify saying this was a good game.
In terms of the PLATINUM grind itself, it wasn’t too difficult at all, so it does have that going for it. Similar to the first two games there were trophies relating to different memory sequences, some collectibles to grind, and a bunch of miscellaneous trophies to pick up. Ultimately, it’s still my least favourite of the Ezio Trilogy.
