Didn't have time to react? Haha. He has about 15 seconds. The first time he leaps up over the wall, it's only about 20ft high and about 20ft in front of him. If someone suddenly appears directly ahead of you like that you're noticing that HUGE movement in your peripheral vision and you're reacting immediately. I know it's just a game though...but still, yeah.

But, seriously though, this combat looks like a major step up from the last few games. It seems like they took some tips from the Soulsborne series, that one on one combat with the big guy looked more like Dark Souls than it did classic Assassin's Creed. It looks like it takes some skill rather than just "press counter when it flashes on the screen to insta-kill".

That was renaissance rome. The other guy's probably talking about ancient rome, with the gladiator arenas, slavery, and whatnot. This game does take place during such an era, so hopefully we get some ancient rome in origins.

It's such a great feeling knowing that this game was not downgraded since this trailer, and if it was, it's very minor and you wouldn't notice. A very good change in the AC franchise that did the game good, not bad. Ubisoft deserves much credit for this :P

The stealth playstyle is up to the player. The skill tree now has 3 choices for you to choose which one playstyle you want to take: Manipulator, Warrior, and Hunter (which is basically stealth).

Richard Sheng One thing that has always taken me out of the immersive feel in the AC instalments, is the lacking ability for guards to detect you. Like, in AC1 it was comical; but after that it just got annoying. Like, you know how some people leave bread crumbs leading to where they are? I could leave the whole fucking loaf of bread, 6ft away from where I was and these guards would be like "I know he's here somewhere!"

pilplh, nice try of sugar coating it, but this guy wouldn't be dead on an instant without falling on his head. Hidden blade could have been of nice use. But I guess the standards of AC fanboys are so low nowadays that even this is enough to justify defence.

i like how im Egyptian and have seen almost all the monuments in the game (the great pyramids, heiroglyphic caves, et. cetera)

I remember watching this, I was very hyped and pre-ordered few days after the reveal, this game lived up to my and many others expectations in terms of gameplay, graphics, story and more

Editors : We added a drone eagle Ubisoft : Not bad, What else? Editors : A tracking Arrow ... Ubisoft : Sounds too much exaggerated but they're gonna buy it anyway.

I also wondered... Dishonored 2 impressed me alot as it features a very good stealth system, where you actually have to hide bodies or you are in trouble pretty fast (or at least restricted, when people are alarmed). Also, that post-shot-change direction arrow is the most ridiculous garbage Ubi came up with, for a long time. Seriously wtf. Where is the stealthy approach the target kill-by-kill yard-by-yard until you get the suitable situation... I hope this gets better. Multiplayer was killed, so no purchase if the mechanics and/or story are not overwhelmingly good...

yeah even I was surprised a bit far cry esque stealth would be better (imo fc has some of the best stealth mechanics) like the dude was beside for them a while and those two were so busy that they didn't even notice him. Sprinting too has to attract attention, you cant just be running in full body Armor without making noise to alert the ppl

I always come back to this just to watch Senu flying over Egypt. Gives me inspiration for writing.

So yeah I got origins in 2018 and utterly nothing about it was disappointing even now I am utterly and completely in love with this game I mean the combats definitely its own heath mean that to me it seems less traditional two Assassin's Creed combat we're now it I feel like it does have kind of a bit of depth gameplay wise with implimenting of sheilds and light/heavy attacks being 2 seperate buttons as oppose to holding/pressing the same singular button. But in my opinion. This game is the most beautiful out of any map i've seen in any AC game.

I hear they're introducing a new modern-day protagonist and that Rebecca, Shaun, and Desmond's dad will be making a return. I'd really love a decent modern-day story line!

I'm currently playing AC Origins Again This game is so beautiful, the attention to details and how the AIs interact with their surroundings and the pacing of the story is so amazing. The Open World itself is not barren lands and it's quite engaging.... Just Appreciating the game in 2020.... Looking forward to AC Valhalla... I wish there was Steam Ver. for ACV also, I cant buy from Uplay and Epic Store from india....

Tell me what can be done different to the series, keep in mind that if it changes in a big way people will still complain that it's not assassins creed anymore. (Examples being every other game in existence.) I'm not the type of person to use words like fanboy and whatever. I'm 26 years old on the time this games releases and I know I will enjoy it because it looks fantastic. Iv got an idea if you are not happy with the game, don't buy it.

My only complaint is the voice actor's accent doesn't sound Egyptian in the slightest. The atmosphere, buildings, people, etc look immersive as hell and then suddenly the protagonist speaks and he might as well all be talking with a thick Scottish accent.

There's nothing that looks innovative about this. Except that it's an open world this time. It might as well be called Batman Arkham city in Ancient Egypt. The enemy AI still looks dumb as rocks.
