The trailer gave me pure Assassin's Creed 1 vibes. And although the first version of the game was released in the same year as I was born, I somehow feel nostalgic

He gives me Ezio vibes. Young Basim seems arrogant, but Loki in Ac Valhalla was a little arrogant, yet more cold, more calculating So we may see Basim go from arrogant and reckless to colder and calculating, which does remind me of Ezio, who was pretty arrogant when he was younger, but as he became more skilled as an assassin, he became less like himself before.

The Djinn itself is not real or important, the point of that last part of the trailer is that this will be how Basim perceives Loki taking over him. Similar to Eivor, Basim will have "visions", actually Loki's memories, like how Eivor saw Odin's memories, but because Basim can't comprehend the Isu, Basim will see them and anything associated with them as the mythological beings they would eventually be remembered by human society in the AC universe.

the assassin term actually came from arab or persian i guess..it was called hassasin...forgot the name of the guy who formed the first assassin groups in history in present iran...great to see the game went back to its root once again

@@efrenarevalo2025 they already said there’s nothing in the game that involves real gambling. You do know that if the game is rated 18+, they won’t be allowed to sell it anywhere except pc. Consoles don’t allow rated a games

@@gendgree2269 You missed the point so I'll just say it straight. Ubisoft added a loot box type of mechanic in the game, it got caught so they are now trying to tweak the loot box system so they can implement it with proper rating upon release.

Now that I realize it, how are these people even remotely subtle or “blend in” when they’re covered in pristine white fits around poor people.

The trailer is very nice but the end scene give me some rpg vibe
