Assassin's Creed Mirage FAJR Azaan (Muslim Call to prayer)
This is not any other azaan this is a special Azaan recited only for the Dawn prayer called FAJR.
Here is the background and meaning of azaan.
It was narrated from Muhammed bin 'Abdullah bin Zaid that his father said that:
The Messenger of Allah was thinking of a horn, and he commanded that a bell be made and it was done. Then 'Abdullah bin Zaid had a dream. He said: "I saw a man wearing two green garments, carrying a bell. I said to him, 'O slave of Allah, will you sell the bell?' He said; 'What will you do with it?' I said, 'I will call (the people) to prayer.' He said, 'Shall I not tell you of something better than that?' I said, 'What is it?' he said, 'Say: Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar; Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah, Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah; Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah, Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah; Hayya 'alas-salah, Hayya 'alas-salah; Hayya 'alal-falah, Hayya 'alal-falah; Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar; La ilaha illallah (Allah is The Most Great, Allah is The Most Great; Allah is The Most Great, Allah is The Most Great; I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah; I bear witness that Muhammed is the Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that Muhammed is the Messenger of Allah; Come to the Prayer, Come to the Prayer; Come to the prosperity, Come to the prosperity; Allah is the Most great, Allah is the Most Great; None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)." 'Abdullah bin Zaid went out and came to the Messenger of Allah, and told him what he had seen. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I saw a man wearing two green garments carrying a bell," and he told him the story. The Messenger of Allah said, "Your companion has had a dream. Go out with Bilal to the mosque and teach it to him, for he has a louder voice than you." I ('Abdullah) went out with Bilal to the mosque, and I started teaching him the words and he was calling them out. 'Umar Al-Khattab heard the voice and came out saying, "O Messenger of Allah! By Allah, I saw the same (dream) as him." (Hasan)Abu 'Ubaid said: "Abu Bakr Al-Hakami told me that 'Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Ansari said concerning that: 'I praise Allah, the Possessor of majesty and honor, A great deal of praise for the Adhan. Since the news of it came to me from Allah, So due to it, I was honored by the information. During the three nights. Each of which increased me in honor.'"

Without the Azan, this time period of Baghdad would be incomplete. It was the golden age of Islam when Muslims were prospering in science, maths, arts, cosmology, engineering, etc. This is accurate !

Allah is just arabic for God (or transliterally "The God"). The word existed way before prophet Muhammed and is still used by some christian arabs. We believe in the same God, our one and only Creator, just that Jesus (peace be upon him) was an exemplary messenger that preached we should pray to God and not to Jesus.

As someone who does Adhaan in a local mosque I understand what you mean but you have to understand that even in Malaysia we have sets of rules that have to be respectable and sympathise towards other religion having to turn down our mic a little resulting us to shout just to let people hear a glimpse of acknowledgement that it's finally time for that prayer. No offense taken just an fyi.

Azan is a word of god, all he is saying you "come to success". Now imagine if someone is sad or in despire and suddenly he hears this word "'come to sucess despite in which situation you are, i will make things right for you" wouldn't that will be beautiful? Azan comes 5 times a day, so 5 times daily we are getting message from god It's okay if you are sad it's ok if you are broken. Come to me come to success i will make things right for you.. There's something so magical and nostalgic about 9th century middle eastern atmosphere at night..dark blue sky, stars and moon, silhouette of traveling merchants with their camels in the desert, yellowish glow of light emanating from houses, dome-shaped roof, beautiful arts, palm trees. A beautiful place with thousands of years of history..no wonder it feels so magical. Well that and the fact that I watched aladin when I was a kid, kinda hoping magical lamp and all sorts of magical things existed in real life haha

Back then, there was no technology that could pollute the sky with pollution and the greenhouse effect So that at night the sky looks very bright and very beautiful with the stars twinkling in the sky...Not to mention they use fire lights so that it gives the impression of romance and aesthetics when night falls... the fresh air and cool breeze certainly makes the past very beautiful in nature.
This is first prayer of 5 in a day before sunrise, we know it bc he say in adhan "prayer is better than sleeping" in other 4 prayer calls imam dont say that. Really nice detail.

This is Jiharkah melody, It''s peaceful and calming, other melodies are hijaz (strong, bold), Nahawand (Sad, Beautiful), Bayyati Husaini (Uplifting), rast (Nostalgic), and other two are sika and shoba but I never listen to it.

U can search 'azan jiharkah masjid kristal or ustaz fahmi', its most beautiful & famous azan in malaysia.. nowadays, its become more common in south east asia bcz more people already learn it

Another fun fact: the first adzan was performed by a man named Bilal Bin Rabah, on the top of Kaabah, after Muhammad PBUH freed Makkah from idol worshiping.

I’m not religious and don’t subscribe to a certain belief but I do find this soothing and relaxing. There is so much beauty to be found in other cultures.

I agree with you brother, also, you can search this adzan version here on KZread, I believe it is called "Jiharkah adzan", as it is really similar to the one my teacher taught me and it has that name.

They got every details correct! They didn't forgot those extra two lines for Fajr adhan 'assalatu khairun minan naum' which means salat is more important than sleeping. Absolutely insane details!

@@SalehAbdurRaheem I take it that somber here means the dull tone, as in not distracting. The context is this video that the azan sounded in the game is not deafening, loud blasting in your ears... But somber, dull tone on purpose and seamlessly in the background not breaking the immersion of the game.
Alhamdulilah for this man. I’m so happy they finally put something Muslim into the AC games I’ve always been such a big fan of this series ever since 2007. Alhamdulilah! Such a small thing to add but made me tear up. It’s so beautiful.

Hashashin or otherwise known as, the Assassins were medieval Nizari Ismailis of Persia and Syria. It was known as a secret order to be led by a mysterious man; the Nizari Ismailis was formed in the late 11th century and split from Ismailism which was a branch of Shia Islam .
I honestly find it the adhan haunting, fascinating yet also mesmerising considering what the character is.

I am really surprised that Ubisoft put the correct call to prayer for Fajr prayer, because the call to prayer of fajr differs from the call to prayer for the rest of the prayers because the phrase (Prayer is better than sleep) is added to it, which is not present in the other call to prayers.

Its amazing that they kept it full and accurate in arabic. I appreciate that, especially the fact it seems like dawn and he says "الصلاة خيرا من النوم" as you're supposed to when its dawn. that detail alone is amazing on its own, respect.

As a Muslim and Assassins Creed Fan since AC2 Ezio Trilogy, this is Amazing. 💚💚💚 Whats more amazing is, there is one line difference between other 4 Azaan and Fajar Azaan (Morning Prayer Azaan). There is an additional line in Morning (Fajar) Prayer Azaan, that is "Assalatu khairum minannaum", which means "Prayer is better than sleep". So, this thing is even more heart-touching that Ubisoft kept is very accurate. 💚💚💚
