Considering how much I hate unintentional hidden blade activations, I'd tie the knot at a further point on the string and put the ring on my thumb so that the activation mechanism is out of the way but still there when I need it. Moreover, despite my right-handedness, weirdly enough my left hand would be my main hidden blade hand, using my dominant right hand to grab my assassination victim and spork them with my left, just like in the games.

I'd buy dual extended but you keep selling out so quick. You deserve every dollar though when I get mine I'll be able to cross off another bucket list items lol

Love the blade design and mechanisms. They work and look amazing. Only thing is you said you designed it for the right hand. The blades were worn on the non dominant hand so they could use weapons with the dominant hand. Unless they had dual blades on both arms lol. Not a deal breaker for me but you might get some people who will angrily point that out. Keep up the good work

Purpose-wise, the hidden blade is meant to be worn on the non-dominant hand of the Assassin. It’s called the “hidden blade” for a reason, it’s meant to be discrete, while at the same time, giving the dominant hand of the Assassin free-reign to use his primary weapon without being obstructed by the hidden blade accidentally launching while using a sword. Of course, the dual hidden blade that later came kinda changes that idea, but overall traditionally, hidden blades has alway been presented to be worn on the non-dominant hand. Just look at all the promotions and trailers in each AC games, the main characters are always shown being right handed with their primary weapon with their hidden blade on their left hand. And while they some do carry dual hidden blade, most of the games had their left handed blade decorated more while being the primary hidden blade to carry special weapons, like the hidden gun, phantom blade, Connor’s pivot blade, and grabbling hook. What I’m trying to say here is that I’m glade you made it right-handed only, because I’m left-handed, so people like me are more faithful in using the hidden blade than right handed people, lol.

It can be worn on both just if you want to wear it on the left arm you have to put the ring on your pointer finger instead but if you want the ring to be on your ring finger you have to wear it on the right hand, but ay I might make a mirrored version for the left hand so you can put it on your left ring finger just takes a lot of time to print so many different versions! 😱

RAWICE511 Well, like I said, I’m left handed, so getting the right handed one would be more faithful to the cosplay for me. Definitely going to get the single bladed version, since I love the AC Unity and their hidden blade looks a bit shorter than the previous entry?

Will these ever be made in metal? If so, would the elastics hold up or would you have to use spring steel?

If you ever start selling a more "refined" or metallic model, I recommend that instead of velcro, you use specific rope for the bracelet, with only a portion of velcro at the end, that would make it more comfortable to use and would make everything look more professional. Other than that, this is the most epic gadget I've seen in a long, long time

Except the blade ! Also titanium is soo annoying to work with, it sets everything on fire, you can't tap it, but i understand it's great to have one in Ti

Shouldn’t the blade be attached to your left arm? As in a lot of the games such as Syndicate, so that you can still shake hands with people with your right hand and your blade unnoticed?

Can this be worn on the left arm?

Is there any possibility you would sell print files for a lower price, id love to buy one pre assembled but I wouldnt be able to spend $70 US on one

I would be over joyed if you’d ever sell a 3d printable file. I know it doesn’t generate as much income as a prebuilt but for me who have quite a high end 3d printer and a strict importing law in my country it would be amazing if I can print out and assemble them my self

I don't think that's going to happen since it would basically be the same as restocking the store and I don't think he's got enough parts currently to supply the demand (which is why he's doing a restock instead). This way he can control the output so he's not too stressed as he has these designs as well as improving them and creating plans for new ones and metal ones!

He is going to make a left arm version. Replying to the other commenter down below, I don’t believe you can put it on your other arm because the string placement needs to be where your ring finger is

I'll ask him, but in theory they're ambidextrous, all you have to do is flip it and put the ring on your pointer finger! Edit: He does plan on selling left handed ones soon! Still need to get through this restock and past the design/manufacturing phase.

The main body is Black plastic with steel springs and spring. It's 3D printed, but the single blade is pretty durable and can pierce cardboard boxes! He's working on making sure he can sell metal blades in australia but has some designs in the works!

I hope these will still be available in September. (Really love it but I probably won't be able to get one until I'm back at uni)

Springs raise the production cost plus it’s difficult to find ones with the right tension so elastics are a lot easier for now!
