You get it. Thank you! So many misunderstand what the Assassin's philosophy actually means.

The problem of the ideology and philosophy of the Order of Assassins is the problem of trying to build on any fundamental truth in that at some point any attempt to build this way inevitably creates an institution which then exists to serve itself rather than serving the fundamental truth it was built on.

Its a shame the philosophy of both the assassins and Templars can't find a way to balance each other out. Both philosophies are important in growth of civilizations. But only when one overshadows the other, taking their ideology too far, without compromise do the problems arise.

The Creed is about freedom - radical freedom. You may think as you will and do as you will. But the natural check to freedom is consequence. When a person is aware of the consequences of their actions they become aware of their responsibility for their actions. They do not require an outside force, like Church or State or Templars to outline the do’s and don’ts for them.

This video is amazing and has inspired me to create my own series Breaking Down the Creed like this. Adding a couple of things with Valhalla that just came out. I will link this video in my Discord and not take credit for all the talking points thank you brother for actually understanding the philosophy and teaching me a veteran of 8 years to the Creed new things

Can you make a video why Shay defection to Templars is stupid, and Haytham's decision of staying and serve the Templars after all the wrong doings the Templars did to him and his family.

If nothing is true, then that statement is self-defeating. Equally, it is strange to come to the conclusion that if nothing is true, then all people must therefore be equal. If nothing is true, then the claim that people are equal must not be true. The value of wisdom is also weakened if nothing is true. The problem is, man can never create their own moral standards without being hypocrites, and if hypocrites, then they lack the authority to impose such standards. The antidote to this problem is for God, a perfect being, to impose standards on men, but through a Father-child relationship. This way, each person is directly accountable to their Creator for how they treat others, themselves and their Creator.

my favorite thing about the assassins is that they don't kill out of vengeance or hatred but out of necessity
