The laid-back trait is one of my favourite traits simply because it’s so easy to achieve, as opposed to the 2000 or so satisfaction points required to purchase the carefree trait. Sending my sims on vacation to Sulani saw them gain the trait in the first two days of their stay. But I didn’t know about a lot of these, thanks for making this video! 😊

Silly question: how did you get your Sim to holiday in Sulani? I tried by booking a vacation on the phone but that specific geographical area wasn’t available for that purpose 🙁

Sorry just chiming in here, you don't need the For Rent expansion pack. You can turn any lot into a 'Vacation Rental' (not to be confused with a residential rental lot) and from then on it'll be an option to send your sim on vacation there :).

I've found that the outdoor retreat trait also makes energy go up really fast when sleeping in a tent

I will say that the In the Know Discount trait does work for food stalls AND other kinds of stalls (including the grocery stalls in Henford-on-Bagley) not just the ones in the city. I discovered this with my Super Sim as he always has that option when shopping and I forgot what it was from for a while.

Does is also work in the magic realm? Because that would be a game changer. Especially if it can be stacked with the spellcaster trait to get discounts. But I guess the stuff would end up so cheap that it would be a bit too over powering 😅

Fun fact: The Hero of Strangerville trait pretty much allows free services at places like bars and restaurants. Nothing like eating (or drinking) out for free, no?

No matter how long I play the Sims, there's still always something in here that surprises me!!! I put on this video planning to multi-task, looked up about 2 minutes in and did not recognize any of the features from the rewards traits and audibly said "What is happening" before re-starting the video lol. This is why your videos are the best!!!

Same! I tend to always have the exact same playstyle, so when I watch these I'm still so surprised at some of the things that are mentioned even though I've been playing since the game came out!

One of the reasons I stopped playing the sims was because there's so much I was missing g (I'm *very* consistent in play 😂). There's videos help me actually explore and for he past year been actually playing g.. at least some different things.. in the game

For strangerville reward trait, ordering at the bar becomes free

In my experience, the «Unstoppable Fame», renamed as «Inoubliable» when playing in French, allow your Sim to continue receiving royalties from published work for a longer period. Work for books, music, mobile applications and computer games.

All the work, which goes into your videos is crazy... thank you!

I really enjoy these videos. I’ve been using the Calming Aura quite constantly lately. Since I’ve been dealing with an infant I decided to get the trait before having a baby. And it comes in quite handy. So much so I cheated the trait onto my servo and when my servo needs a recharge/repair, I turn calming aura on and have it stand by the crib and power down there. This makes my gassy infant much much happier.

i like the reward traits but i rarely use them because getting to the point of reward you already did a lot. your kids are grown, you have enough money from selvadorado already, you can flirt with other people without them beeing jelous, but you already have 8 lovers at this point and it worked :D and so on

I personally prefer the aspirations for Growing Together. Pack Animal just rolls off the tongue great. I give it 5 Treehouses out of 5. Idea Person makes my Sim sound like they're a genius. I give it 3 sleeping bags out of 5. Ok, but could be better.

What makes something a 1/5?

I find achieving some of the parenting aspirations frustrating. I have a hard time getting chances to discipline the children

Disciplining kids is under the Parenting category but you have to catch them doing something sus in able to do it. Instead look for ways to encourage which also counts. If you see your kid doing the dishes or even their homework, there should be an option to encourage that behavior and it counts toward the aspiration. You can also teach them please and thank you or to say sorry and then encourage them after the lesson.

I removed thetm trait of all my sims that completed the Strangerville aspiration. Of course I worked in multiple sims of a household at the same time...the amount of garbage...

Yeah, some of these traits are really kind of bleh, huh? They could have done something else with the Laid-Back trait -- like, it prevents you from getting tense AND does something else. Meh. At least the Spa Day traits give you clarity AND the ability to earn mad dosh.
