Great job Ladd! Congratulations!!!

Call me crazy but I thought this was a very good fight (and I don't often sit through 15 minutes of either fighter without getting impatient). Second by second you could see every decision they made, weighing the pros and cons, but trying hard at the same time. In the clinch you could feel the balance game, trying to get ahead, creating the opportunity to throw a knee while realizing I can't do that this very second or I'll be taken down, but I can do that the next second because I won't be taken down. Both had gas for 15 minutes as well. Great fight all around.

Budd always been a badass OG!! If she would have been the aggressor more in third round she would have won. She was waiting to react too much. Aspens spinning back fists are like slow motion, would have been a good time to change levels, j/s. Budd always in phenomenal shape 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💙👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I think that Ladd was railroaded in her UFC loss against GDR. But this PFL victory was a gift from Budd. Julia's punches looked like slow motion taps, with nothing on them.

@Michael Moon - I totally agree. I think every "fight" with Julia Budd is totally rigged. Budd may have big muscles, and a pretty face, but zero talent. They simply turned Aspen Ladd into a jobber to make Budd look good.

This was hard to me, I love both of these fighters. Budd is a real pioneer of women's MMA and Ladd is my No 1 pick all day every day. This was a fun fight and We're all won! Have a great one PFL fans!

Budd is built like a Terminator!! Mega good shape but getting a bit old for the trade.

I love Aspen Ladd. She is so awesome. What I love most... the way she shows so little emotion in the ring (ah, most of the time) When they introduce her it's as if she is ready to leave.

If she had gone in looking like she was sub 10% body fat percentage and still missed weight in the UFC, that'd be one thing. But if you are supposedly a professional who signs a contract to fight at a given weight, and miss it while looking like a little discipline and dedication would have made a difference, I have no sympathy.

Ladd is very stiff and borning figher to watch.

She was working it,nice fight.

With little more aggression Budd would have won this fight, the first round was the key to her loss still she needs to throw more punches, My goodness at 39 she is a rock, and in exceptional shape,she still got it just to tweak a little

I think Budd has the natural attributes. I was screaming at Ladd to get in there! You can't play the distance game with a lady that has a 10" reach advantage!!! I saw Ladd throw a punch that was like 4" away from touching Budd! You've got to then get under the arms, buck to free up space, grab one leg and pull that way, etc. when grappling. Heck! Bend that elbow of the reaching arm the other way!
