I do have a Fear guide on the channel that talks about them and at least 1 video per weapon at 32 Fear in particular. Unfortunately the game is being balanced/updated so frequently that it's difficult to produce and release guides quickly enough, not to mention they're not very useful after balance changes.

Hey Haelian! Random gameplay question. Why do you always drop the cast before charging omegas? I find dropping the cast -while- im charging omegas makes sure it's still up for the homing daggers. Unless i'm missing something here

I'm going to be honest, I didn't know you could drop the cast while channeling. I just assumed the game didn't let you, thank you for the tip!

@@dereksout true, but you can change it to a different button. for instance, I use Cast with RB/R1 in order to do that with ease

Thanks, now I feel less bad about occasionally losing DDs against Hecate. She's the first boss and not that strong but it's easy to underestimate her and quickly lose life by being careless.

Added speed is beneficial for speed runs. Adding a timer is free fear. You can banish boons to make hitting the legendary requirements a bit easier but with a trade off

Vow of Fury means enemies spawn faster, that's probably all we have on here besides Vow of Desperation which doesn't matter (Tight Deadline).

Do you plan on making a. 32 heat video before 1.0 of after?

7:40 What happens if this occurs when you are on 0 DDs against Chronos? You kill him exactly as you hit 0 HP, no Engraved Pin? Do you die or do you win?

Why you didnt take the father chamber in the last act and pray to get the -20% HP of Chronos ? Wouldnt that speed the fight for a few sec ?

It increases the chamber count and will put more enemies in the rest of the chambers

@@ruxbon maybe it's not worth visiting in a speed run, but its always worth visiting in a casual run. the positives always outweigh the negatives b/c if you're comfortable with Tartarus, then a few extra chambers or enemies doesn't matter at all. by now, I am fine with Tartarus so I go out of my way to get extra money, poms and boons in Tartarus before reaching Chronos. thus, I do not care if the Hades detour adds more chambers and enemies too

I wasn't talking about casual play, I had speedrun in mind bc in the video he was trying to go fast unfortunately it might also be better to avoid it on high fear if vow of desperation is on and it felt like this problem also happened whenever a chamber with a reward is chosen, that's why I wonder if that's a thing, too 🤔

Why do you tend to avoid boons that "throw" the cast forward like Zeus and Hestia? They are super useful

Poseidon. Knock back saves health. But that's how I like to play Aphro kills quicker but "up close" with 30 health...is yick to me The joy of the game is testing it to see what works better =D

Because the special has a small base, the flat damage of the waves is significantly bigger than the percentage increase from aphro

@@munchlacks2900 Also unless you're talking about a massive rarity difference, the additional damage from the waves that's applied separably from the base damage is pretty much always better for dealing with enemy Armor than the flat % increase of Aphro. Edit: There's also the fact that with some luck you can get Slippery Slope to apply Slip with Poseidon's special to put towards Origination, where unless I'm forgetting a boon, Aphro's Weak can only be applied via her Dash, Cast, or Gain. Aphro's Cast is probably the ideal boon of her's to use for Pan builds, since it draws enemies both into the cast and close together to maximize hits, and applies Weak towards Origination.

Yeah we've done it a couple of times, not positive which videos though honestly.

Finally tweaked 32 nightmare and pan to beat the surface. What a PAN in the ass it was to do....

I’m confused about the Spiral Knives pick over Dancing Knives. In my mind, shooting your knives 360 degrees around you wastes a lot of damage because when you don’t have your cast to make them home in, they just miss. Wouldn’t it be better to keep the fan pattern so you could still bonk the enemies in front of you? Also, does the “up to 16 knives” part of the hammer just ruin the extra knives you get from Pan? The description alone makes it seem that way but I’d love to know if it behaves differently than I think. Obviously you were super strong already at that point, so it didn’t matter much anyways

Only thing that bothers me alittle is the dash is slightly slower then zags otherwise I love the game and one of my favorites

What was the nerf to Pan?

Only thing I can think of is the hook knives hammer slight nerf, but otherwise aspect of Pan was untouched I think.

Not directly, but the hammers that were good for Pan are changed Concentrated Flurries are cut from the game entirely Hook knives no longer have DMG bonus and return slower

@@Fluffehbunnehh The patch notes only seem to say that hook knives speed was reduced but the damage boost is still there, haven’t seen it in game to verify though.

@@Coran_06 The patch notes say the hook knives dmg boost are removed. And I can verify it no longer has it in game cause I got it last run. That said, it's still a great hammer. Compared to what it offers, the nerf is minuscule.

It's the Arcana card that increases your damage by 50% against enemies with 2 or more Curses on them.
