Daenerys's story was the one who suffered the most changes and omissions in the tv show. Hers and Dorne's of course

Yes Dorne and the Iron Born got butchered the worst by far, then Dany's story, then the minor houses honestly the way the tv show presents it you would think each region had only one house as it's bannermen rather than a bunch of them

It's not worth it to destroy the character of Daenerys just for the sole purpose of shock by D&D. Such a pity to build up Daenerys' character just to be killed at the end. I am still loyal to my queen.

Thanks for making this video! I didn’t read the books and was disappointed of the show at the final season. So I wanted to figure out what happens in the books by asking people. They said Jonerys also for the books almost confirmed and it will work out differently because Jon snow and Dany are different in the books now I see what they meant thanks again!

What I never understood was why did they need a witch to dress a minor wound?They could’ve done themselves .They were the fearsome warriors .Taking care of wounds is 50% of who they are being that they are always fighting and getting even more severe injuries.

in the book isnt the wound described as a nipple being cut off, like a deep and big gash across the chest? which would be quite serious, because of the high risk of infection, which seemed to have happened then

Where l am in the books is still by far a better situation than season 8. Violently I'll having dreams/visions before being found. I am very concerned as I can't think of anyone recovering or being the same after being sick in the books or the show.

They have no creativity over the story and were attempting to take it under the assumption that people would not mind..kind... they sure were wrong

So many theories that maybe Dany and Viserys was in Dorne.

The only time someone can have no shadow is in the dark of night. That blue-eyed king is not Stannis.

I'd love to see a video about the different kind of weapons throughout the world like how the Dothraki use araks or how the Myrish are known for their stilettos

@@florisvanvelthoven8143 Books, definitely. To be fair, the book version allows us to know what she's thinking while the tv show doesn't, for obvious reasons. But still, her whole storyline in Qarth and Meereen was painful to watch. They make her way more violent and dumb overall.

In the books he still raped her. Repeatedly. To the point that she wanted to commit suicide. Just not as brutal at the wedding. But the wedding night still qualify as rape. He didn’t stop asking until she said yes and She didn’t really have a choice. The show did not want the audience to think it was consensual, since they only included 2 rape scenes.

I feel like Dany shoulda stayed in Astapor until the dragons were grown, then taken Yunkai and Meereen. Take the dragons out flying and trained them, or idk taught them that the Red Wastes and Dothraki Sea were their territory while the cities were their lairs. I just want Daenerys to be the queen she was meant to be.

I hope dany meets Jon in the books

I don't think that is a thing that could happen, since Daenerys decided to stay in Meereen and the only thing that could go as the show did is the battle of Meereen since I think that she will never reach Westeros again, losing her dragons one by one, Viserion killed by the angry people of Meereen since the dragons are killing a lots of people, Rhaegal while fighting against the Slavers and Drogon dying along with Daenerys on the last day of battle, or they could win the battle and then go to Asshai like the prophecy said by the Woman with a mask and then sail to The Free Cities, only for Daenerys to find someone sent from Aegon VI forcing her to marry him, but she will leave the city after burning him.

@@Goetterkomplex_ no, I didn't say that she will die after killing Aegon VI but I think that GRRM will make her die in an unexpected way (one of the 3 betrayals that Dany think already happened but one may still have to happen) possibly Daario or, if that is too much obvious maybe someone like missandei or grey worm. If missandei would cause daenerys's death that would be really amazing, but also the betrayal for love could also refer to one of her dragons, now controlled by that Greyjoy guy with that horn (don't remember the name) , because she will refuse his marriage proposal, and, since in the books Dany is not immune to fire like in the series she could die, but not without being forever remembered as the last dragon. (I'm not a native speaker in English-language, so sorry for whatever error might occur.)

@@Goetterkomplex_ it was a magic ritual, mirri maz duur even said that to make a life Dany needed a life, so she used 3 lives to make her dragons born. (Khal Drogo, Drogo's horse and Mirri Maz Duur). I also have a personal theory in which the strongest dragon (drogon) was born by exchanging the strongest life (drogo), the second (rhaegal) by exchanging the life of mirri maz duur and the third (viserion) whose life was created by sacrificing a horse is the weakest because it was sacrificed an animal and not an actual person. Mirri even said that, since Dany didn't know magic well , she could even die in the fire. So yes, in the series dany is fireproof, but in the books is thanks to the ritual that she survives the fkame. (A "witch" or whoever practices such a rotual, can't die if they are enough powerful to succeed in the ritual itself.)

Im surprised you didnt mention the fact the Daenerys is 14 years old and Viserys is 21.

Season 5 would have been so much greater if they fallowed the books.

It's a shame that Dany and Irri thing didn't happen in the show

Still no new info unfortunately, the newest book is still not out, so all this info is still up to date. When it finally does come out, I will start updating a lot of old ASOIAF vids.

So Drogon is the mummer's dragon? who's the mummer then? I figured it was Varys but perhaps it's Mopatis because the eggs were his, but then is only Drogon the mummer's dragon, or all three dragons are? the three-headed dragon?

I think the mummer's dragon is Aegon Targaryen, the supposed son of Rhaegar who appears at the end of the books. He is a dragon because he has/claims to have Targaryen blood, and he's tied to the Mummer = Varys, through Illyrio Mopatis. :)

Yeah it's really weird, Dany and Cersei both experiment with a woman, while Asha Greyjoy (Yara on the show) who is presented as being at least bisexual in GOTS, strictly takes men as her lovers in the books. Cersei though is especially fascinating, she begins to descend into mass paranoia in A Feast for Crows and starts behaving just like Robert Baratheon would as a ruler. Robert drank in excess so Cersei drinks in excess. Robert gained weight once he was king, Cersei begins to gain weight before she is locked up by the sparrows. Robert could be forceful during sex so he hurt Cersei now and then. Cersei too ends up sleeping with a woman purely because she's curious to experience sex like Robert would have, and hurts her through being forceful. It's really bizarre when you're actually reading her own thoughts and you begin to understand just how paranoid Cersei is. After Tyrion kills Tywin which is where book 4 for her begins, Cersei starts going steadily off the deep end.

We have no idea who Daario is really, he could be exactly who he says he is, though many book readers suspect otherwise including myself. As for the Golden company they are the sellsword group who Bittersteel founded to support the Blackfyre's (a line of Targaryen bastards all legitimized by their King-father upon his deathbed, which led to war against the Targaryen's for the throne). Supposedly the male line of house Blackfyre died out. In the show they will likely just be the Mercenary company Cersei hired. I doubt they will be more than that, unless of course Aegon has a really important plot at the end of the books and they are attempting to merge his and Jon's plotlines somehow. Outside of that the Blackfyre rebellion's have never been discussed on the show, so it's much too big to just drop into the final season with few episodes left.

That wasnt as common in medieval times as it's made out to be. At least consummation wasnt. You dont want to marry a young girl and then have her die in childbirth at 14. Usually they would consummate at 16 or 17.

Blackfyres are still the blood of Valyria, they might not be targaryens, but they are still dragons. The mummer's dragon could be Brown Ben Plumm, as he claims to have a drop of dragon in him. It's true, he had a distant Targaryen ancestor, but so did Quenten Martell, and he died in agony from dragonfire. Quenten could have been the mummer's dragon, but he was already the sun's son. Even if Aegon is a fake, or not even a Blackfyre, he still clearly has strong Valyrian blood in him, so it might not even matter that he isn't targaryen.
