It feels good to know I’m not alone, but it also sucks knowing it freaks me out so much and I hate others feel that way too.

Much like how most are staying, this hits so close to home😣 I’m 25 and I’ve always been terrified to drive and I feel like I keep waiting for something “magical” to happen every year where I just won’t feel scared anymore. And it’s never happened😭 Thank you so so much for this video!💜🫶🏼

Oh my gosh Jordan, same! I’m 25 too and for so long I’ve felt pressured by certain families to learn (I get that they’re worried about me long term, but they never actually seem to hear how it makes me feel…) I just wish that I had wanted to drive like every other 16 year old.

March 11th will be the one year anniversary of my car accident. My car was totaled and my entire life was seriously altered. It’s taken months of processing and healing just to be able to even ride in a car again. Your timing is so perfect. Thank you for being a constant source of comfort and encouragement. ❤️❤️❤️

Ah! I really needed this! I have been a passenger in 3 serious accidents in the past 5 years and one lead me to have permanent nerve damage and internal scaring in my legs. It has been extremely hard for me to want to get behind the wheel and drive as I have severe PTSD about it. I still haven't gotten my license yet because I am so scared. This audio brought me to tears and helped me heal a little and brought me hope. Thank you so so much! 💖🥺

so it's almost the one year anniversary of me getting my driver's license and just today my parents were all pushy bc I absolutely despise driving, it makes me so anxious and at almost 24 I should just "get over it" and omg the timing of this is just perfect

i hate driving so much as well but for everyone who's just generally scared of driving for no real reason (like not having been in an accident before or smth, just general fear of it), it will get better if you just keep doing it. I've never liked driving before, always been scared of getting into an accident or something and when i had driving lessons i was even more scared of endangering others, i was VERY terrified of sitting behind the wheel. my driving instructor kept telling me when I've done smth good and that did give me a little more confidence, but after driving school i was back at the point of being scared of doing smth wrong. but the more you force yourself, even if it's only driving to the next grocery store to get groceries, the more relaxed you'll get. I believe in y'all because if I've managed, you can do it as well!

I'm doing my drive time in like 30 minutes and I'm a little nervous being directionally challenged and getting in an accident, it's been a few months since I've practiced but I want to get over this fear im sure when i get in the car it'll be fine

That sounds like something my boyfriend would say to me if the world ever allows me to have someone so understanding. I'm literally a mole my eyesight is terrible and I probably couldn't pass a driver's eye test, plus my city is very chaotic the last thing It need is more drivers.

I hope it’s going well! I’m hoping I get to where you are soon. My mom doesn’t seem to see that even though I know I can drive I don’t feel safe because of her getting in the backseat of a car with me (and my grandma who wanted to take me practice driving in an empty parking lot) and laughing, filming and stressing me out the whole time… She’s always pushing me to learn on her timetable and she can’t see how stressed it makes me.

@@MaddieBullock You should never feel pressured by anyone to a point where you are uncomfortable. It took my so long to learn that myself because I constantly gave into what people expected me to do. I truly hope that you will be able to feel comfortable driving at your own pace in your own time. I’m sure that you will do perfectly fine and even if you don’t you can always try again!
