I think most people ask whether one feels differently after marriage for multiple reasons. For one, i guess it used to mean that once you got married then you moved in together and therefore the dynamic fully changed, which isn’t necessarily the case anymore. But on the other hand, maybe it says something about how society expects marriage to either make or break a relationship, not really considering that maybe a couple gets married precisely because they’re content and want to maintain their shared lifestyle. Idk why my mind went so many places when you said that lol. My brother got married recently and everyone asked him the same and he didn’t get the question either because nothing truly changed beside his civil status.

Yeah it's super interesting! From hearing other people respond, one take seems to be that after you're married you feel more secure? But I don't really relate to that, as you described 💜
