    i did DBT during a difficult period a couple years ago. It was helpful to a degree. Keeping a journal and evaluating things with a new perspective (like what would your “wise mind” say) was useful. It all takes some getting used to but it’s good!

    So exciting that you’ll be moving! And it’s so great that you were able to get the kids into the school/nursery you liked the most. It’s fantastic that you make time to spend with your kids doing what they love atm. I would have loved for my parents to show interest in what I was interested as a kid. Now it feels like my interests have nothing to do with theirs and it’s hard to connect

    The way you’re so intentional about spending time with your children and giving them your full attention - that really matters. I always appreciated my parents taking an interest in the books I read or games I liked, or at least listening when I rambled about them, and I’m still surprised by the random tidbits my mom remembers years and years later. Anyway, best of luck with the move!

    That is so exciting for you and you children! I’m glad you were able to get them into the schools and nursery that you wanted. I feel that when anxiety creeps up, it’s good to remember that thoughts are constantly popping into our brains, and most of the time, they are just that, and I find myself acknowledging the thought , but then not giving it too much attention. The random thoughts do dissipate, and then I’m able to focus more. ❤❤❤
