this might be already in your plans but it would be great to listen to you reading poetry -- with pauses between poems, of course, so as to not fatigue you. can hardly think of a voice more mellifluous for that than yours :)

I watched Howl´s moving castle last week for the very first time, and it was amazing! It gave me feelings I can´t describe, so wholesome, so beautiful and the music is just wonderful: nostalgic, out of this world! The last scene was the cherry on the top of the cake; made me drop some tears.

So, for your first video, this is perfect. This is the kind of video that so many other creators refuse to do very often, but is my absolute favorite. I LOVE rambling videos, I love getting to know the people that relax me, and I love hearing about what they are into. And you have such a cute personality, the perfect blend of scattered intelligence. And I really hope you are doing okay with the concussion recovery. And I was so rooting that you would say A New Hope was your favorite. Its mine too. And your voice is intoxicating. Keep this up. Honestly, your normal videos give me tingles, but this is really nice. So, things about me (only because you asked). I'm six years sober. Tolkien is my favorite author. I love tea and candles. I cook a bit, mainly Asian stuff. I'm not Asian though. I deal with anxiety and depression and insomnia and ASMR helps me with that. I am addicted to peanut butter and pickles, but not at the same time.

I can't express how excited I've been for this. Months in the making, praying to the wind, almost like counting down the days for a new favourite movie to come out 😂 I feel so silly. Many thanks, Emma, there's just something so soothing and calming about your whole demeanor 💜 it just does it for me. I'm sure the feeling is very much shared by all your subscribers but I am such a fan ! P.s. been replaying that tiny bit from one of your old videos where you (brilliantly) rant about literary criticism just because of a tiny snippet towards the end when you write a to do list on a piece of paper, just bc of the asmr vibes. I spotted your whole oddly endearing pen holding thing right away in that bit haha I kinda refuse to believe there is a right way to hold a pen, though; that sounds very old school to me. Glad you weren't corrected! Ps.2. if I may suggest stuff I can't wait to see? Tea time. Tea bags appreciation. Honestly anything with you preparing a drink as well, either the pouring, or the ice cracking into the coffee... It makes the everyday seem so gracious 💜

Just found my way here ❤️. A few things: this reminds me of sleepovers when I was, like, 11 and we were supposed to be asleep but we stayed up whispering all night, trying to muffle our laughter. Love it so much. Also, A New Hope holds such a special place in my heart. When I was little I called it the "Yucky Water" episode....you know, bc the trash compactor scene. Also, fun fact: my name is Carrie bc Carrie Fisher. My dad was a big SW fan :)

Hi Emma I found this channel from your book channel you don’t how much hearing that you have the same issues as me having post concussion syndrome makes me feel like I finally have someone that understands how it’s hard for me to read and watch tv or long concentration things I was a avid reader till my accident and I am somewhat better at it now then before but it’s still hard for me to finish a book thanks for all the content you do ❤️

I grip pencils like that too! I remember in kindergarten or 1st grade one of my teachers was super concerned about it and tried to get me to write correctly but I never changed the way I grip it lol it’s just the way that seems natural to me

I do a similar thing to you with the chucking dark chocolate in ya gob and then sipping mint tea to try and replicate mint choc chip.. except it’s that I simply love shovelling dark choco down me 24/7 (it’s the most decadent stuff on the planet)
