Excerpt, yes. What was the name of the Czech author? Edit: I found it. For anyone interested, the book mentioned is Naslouchač by Petra Stehlíková. It seems it has not been translated into English yet. Perhaps we could commission a translation? Sounds like a good project; I would love to be a part if somehow the rights could be obtained.
You should definitely still buy the books if you're going to read them, but none of that money would go to either Robert Jordan or Terry Goodkind. Robert Jordan died in 2007. And Terry Goodkind apparently died just last September 2020. Therefore, any profits off the sale of their books are split between their respective families, the publisher, and the retailer. Edit: By "you" I meant anyone interested in reading the books.

For sure if you’re about to read the book, you should buy it. I still prefer hardcover books over e-books. However, this is up to everyone’s personal preferences.
