​@@yolandaezequiel3552im not sure about her, but Amazon generally has good stuff if you look up "scrapbooking kit" "vintage scrapbook" or similar things. also, in the states thrift stores can be good if you know where to look and have a good eye for what can be used.

i found this account yesterday i love these videos it makes me sleepy but i try so hard to stay awake so i can watch 😭 it’s so satisfying

The earliest online discussions about ASMR was on a forum back in 2007 where a user described a sensation they have felt since childhood, feeling like being "stimulated by tracing fingers along the skin" whenever they were being read to or watched a pupped show. Other users joined in saying how certain sounds also stimulate them (whispering, tapping, scratching, or crinkling sounds). The first ASMR video was posted on KZread in 2009, called "Whisper 1 - Hello" but the term, ASMR, didn't exist then. In 2010 Jennifer Allen created Facebook group where members were trying to understand this new phenomenon and Jennifer suggested that they should name it "Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response", ASMR. Its popularity increased over time with new KZread channels dedicated to it were popping up since 2016.

It came about because of an over abundance of technology and social media. We destroyed our dopamine receptors and this is now calming to us because it slows things down. It takes someone not born into it to realize. I was born in 1984, so I didn’t grow up with a smartphone in my hand or a one of the many addictive social media apps I could overindulge myself with like some addict. I’m lucky that way but even I have my own struggles…hence why I’m here.

I just wanna know where all you gorgeous-handed journal decorators happen to find so many weird pairs of scissors, why you need so many, how you choose what to decorate with, where, and why, Knick knacks in so many different containers and places and keep track of it all it just fascinated me haha. Also THANK YOU for being the only one I’ve seen that shows how you stick down bits that aren’t stickers! I’ve never seen glue like that

I agree. There is no clear point to this. I guess the appeal is simply 'decorating' a page. For me, I decorate but I also write, and I do it because I don't want the page to look so empty. Usually what I put there represents my day or my mood and I don't put things just because i can.
