Hey Rose, I just want to say, if you have some problems with your eyes, and can get them fixed with surgery, you are very lucky to have that option. I lost most of my eyesight when I was 8, so now my vision is about 2/60, and there is nothing that can be done about it.

Thanks for the kind words. Honestly, I don’t really think about it too much. The most frustrating thing is that I can’t see what other people can, so when someone says “Hey, look at that.” There are many times where I simply can’t, so I miss a lot of things. I also can’t read regular writing without a magnifier, so I tend not to read much if I don’t have to. I also can’t drive of course, which is a shame, because cars are my main interest. Maybe one day there will be a solution, in fact, I’m sure there will be, but whether that’s in 5 years or 50, I don’t know. For now, I’m happy to just appreciate the eyesight I do have.
