i love the crinkly paper sounds and the organized arrangement of the food. i feel so relaxed

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an end of one of these diner videos, because they always soothe me to sleep before I can watch the rest of it! They really are excellent. The small town feel with the old-fashioned menu and decor makes it so easy to forget our modern worries. Thank you for another excellent piece!

I like all your videos but for some reason Idk why I just took a real liking to these sandwich shop videos you do , there just so calming and relaxing .. the orders are made so carefully … I love it !

Loving these vintage deli videos! Not sure if it's just me but I find that an element of surprise adds to the ASMR experience. So I wonder if you'd ever consider doing a 'surprise cafe' type thing where the customer orders say 5 surprise dishes and you make them without saying what they are, then it allows the viewer to guess what each dish might be as we watch along! Or maybe I am just weird 😂

@@Mashamazzi A Granny Smith + bacon + cheddar works as a griddled sandwich (bonus if you use cinnamon French toast from thick slices of sourdough before you shoot the glorious mess through a salamander). Plain bread and non-melty American slices and mayo? That’s a no from me dawg.

Had some down time from my work and happened upon this channel the other day just browsing. It immediately engaged me. Just to preface what entranced the most I want to assure you this is not a criticism or anything negative. You have a very engaging style. I’m not so much an ASMR enthusiast, even though I occasionally watch a video or two. I’m an actor who works a lot in the horror genre, and my reaction to this video is probably influenced by my work as a writer and actor in horror. Your slow, very thoughtful and precise delivery got me immediately on edge. This is not a bad thing. I kept waiting nervously for the ‘thing’ that was hiding behind your ultra careful oration to leap out and attack. Again, please don’t take offense. Your delivery has given me some wonderful new ideas about a serial killer who works in a deli. I’m not joking. You never know where inspiration will strike or how it will strike. I want to thank you for this! I hope you don’t think I’m trying to be snide or snarky or insulting. I am not. You’re terrific. Keep doing g what you do.

That was excellent, Lloyd. I know this was a vintage diner, but do people still eat that much at one sitting ? I remember lecturing in the US, back in 2003 - I couldn't believe the size of the 'sub' sandwiches, then - needeed a doggy bag to take half of it back to my residence. Very much a feelgood presentation, & as always, thank you !

Whenever I struggle to sleep, I know it won't be long until I am in dreamland when I watch Lloyd's asmr 😴

Love your roleplays sir, they are very unique. thanks for all you do. couple of questions for you. Was that sardine patty home made? do you have a recipe you follow? it sounds interesting and i would like to try it sometime. Have you thought about doing any straight up cooking videos? those are often my favorites. Lastly, just straight curiosity, what do you do with all the food you prep? seems like an aweful lot of food to eat for a meal. Cheers and keep up the good work!
