the asteroid set is sooo pretty!

Hey dido, is it possible for you to make your videos a bit darker in terms of brightness because when I’m in bed sometimes my eyes are uncomfortable with the brightness even though I set the lowest screen brightness and blue filter on. It would be awesome if this was possible :)

I usually try to overcome this issue with a black mat as the background but sometimes I also use this dark blue one which I’ve been told is dark enough that it’s not too uncomfortable on the eyes. If this is something people feel the blue background doesn’t work well for then I’ll definitely stick to black/grey! Also, it may also be because I had to film this video during the day so I used natural lighting instead of studio lighting. Apologies about this man but thanks so much for the feedback!

Suit ‘N’ Value was a really cool trick, rewatched it to try to see if I saw anything to figure it and still couldn’t. Awesome stuff man!

It's a great trick! His prediction was based off the top 2 cards. Those cards were then not affected by the riffle shuffle and remained on top. Then were dealt to the bottom of the random 19 card pile. And then were the top cards when it was split into two separate piles. It was really well done and pretty fooling as there is no sleight of hand involved.

Also I think I know the second trick. Yes it started as completely random, no setup. You looked at the top and bottom card of the deck as you were making your “prediction” and chose the card based off of the value and suit of the top and bottom card. Then you used some cuts and brought the bottom card to the top. Then the spectator chooses a random number and you put down the cards one by one. But by doing that it changes the order of the cards so the two main cards are now at the bottom of that packet , not the top. After that you put them into two separate piles, and bc you are putting them one at a time one by one, it changes the order once again. This brings those two cards back to the top of each packet. Then you turn them over , show your prediction card, and the spectator is shook 🤯

Don't wanna spoil it for anyone, but here's how you've done the Suit N'Value: The cards are really mixed at first, and you made the prediction by lookin at the top two cards (2 of Sp and 10 of Dia). Then you did a controlled Faro to keep the top 2 cards still at the top. Dealing however many cards down ONE AT A TIME ensures the top two cards are now the bottom two. Then dealing these down into two piles makes the two cards appear at the top of each pile. Having said that, it's such a cool effect that Iwish I didn't know how it's done :)

Hey dido i had a suggestion for you about getting clips for the card magic. Its just a thought but have you thought about making a discord server so people can talk and submit their videos to it

I’m glad you like my samurai card but if you do get it dido I have to warn you it’s made out of a different material so it’s very slippery
