I have family that live in Yellowknife and it really was a harrowing summer for a lot of people there, dealing with the wildfires and evacuations. Fortunately, they stayed safe, and things are getting back to normal...or at least are heading that way. I personally couldn't imagine living in a place where -40 is a normal part of winter!! 😅

What a relief that everyone stayed safe! The wildfires are just terrifying. It's hard to comprehend how massive the area is that was or still is burning. Haha yeah, a little chilly 🥶

This is like listening to silk , absolutely beautiful.

This is comforting for me as a Canadian living abroad. You should check out maps of the southwest coast / Vancouver island! The geography and ethnology is fascinating.

What an interesting and beautiful place this sounds. Thank you for another lovely map and geography video. I still like your Austrian videos the best though. I’ve just returned from a trip to Austria and we loved everything we saw - especially the Wachau valley and Vienna (sampled several coffee houses). I told our guide in Vienna all about your channel and recommended it to her. We are definitely planning to return to there because there is so much to see and we didn’t stay long. However, we did get all the Hapsburgs a bit mixed up so will need to do some revision before then! Oh and if you are counting votes, I think I prefer the stick to the little brush too.

I’ve tried and failed to stay awake 5 times 😂 I try to restart where I remember, but then I’m out again. I also prefer the stick ☺️

I was delighted to see you used the info! And then the city was threatened by forest fires and my son (and the rest of Yellowknife) had to evacuate-such a harrowing time but all good in the end. I’ll send you a postcard from there next time I visit my son! Thanks again (for all you do)

I love the brush! Thank you for using it in this video, I love how you do ‘painting strokes’ with it :) was just thinking a video about paintings and artworks with you tracing them would be perfect!

Brush fan here 😊 I think the brush amplifies the softness and is much more suitable for gentle tracing, so I can only hope you would use it more often going forward. Anyway, as always, thank you so much for everything you do ❤
