If you are learning then here will you learn incorrectly. First no one learns German with Hund, Katze, Hase, but rather der Hund, die Katze, der Hase, And if you really want to learn you will also add the plural forms. Then rabbit is das Kanninchen, not Hase. Der Hase is another animal called hare or jackrabbit. Learning German without the articles is like learning how to drive without a steering wheel.

@@mikatu I've got a lot of hobbies and learning languages is just one of them. For now, it's not so serious and I'm just happy when I hear a familiar word and can understand what it is. But thanks for the advice!
