Imagine if everyone knew ASL. Easy silent communication from across any room. Plus deaf people too. I 100% agree that everyone should learn it

educational asmr is the best flavour of asmr
My favorite ASMR is people discussing things they are passionate about and/or know very well. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
Please do more of this, I've always loved ASL but never had the need or heavy motivation to learn. Having a ASMR video that teaches something as interesting and important as ASL is amazing. I loved the video and would enjoy any other videos that you end up doing in the near future that revolves around ASL (not that I don't enjoy your normal content).
i’m currently learning asl and my goal is to become fluent. i always love seeing asl representation! it’s my favorite language and it makes me happy to see it!

it’s definitely challenging but if you’re determined, you’ll gain fluency so soon! my best tip is to find deaf people in your community and go to deaf dinners/events and practice! the deaf community is sososo welcoming in that sejse
Could you do more of these? My soon-to-be stepmom is 90% deaf and knowing this would be really useful. Great video btw
I learnt BSL in primary school, from my friends' dad who is deaf. It's so interesting to see the differences between ASL and BSL. I totally agree it should be taught in school more readily as well, it's allowed me to have so many interactions and meet people I wouldn't have otherwise!

Also fluent in asl! Been signing for almost 4 years, learned for my deaf boyfriend, i love love sign and so want to be an interpreter and have been looking into programs and colleges for it, asl makes me so happy 💙💙
It's fun to saw a different type of sign language. Here in Brazil it's called LIBRAS (Língua Brasileira de Sinais). That video is pretty informative ❤
This video makes me so nostalgic for when I was learning ASL in middle and high school. I had to stop because my disabilities started to degrade my fine motor skills, but it was both super fun and super beneficial to learn. I completely agree that ASL should be more accessible in American schools, so many people would benefit from knowing even just the basics.
I just graduated ASL today! This video was super cool to relearn everything from the begining!
more lessons please! that was informative
i still know some asl, for health reasons it was the way we as a family had to communicate with my little brother, and then used it to talk to the kids in his specialty class with him idk why I'm talking about this, but means to say these are a little more personal for me, and from an asmrtist i adore!
i’m learning asl and i would love if you did an asl grammar video!!!
Yep, one of my favourite types of video...just as I'm heading to bed? perfection
PLEASE MORE THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE
Honestly my favourite asmrtist, love all your content so much 😊
this was so nostalgic, i used to learn ASL as a child, but forgot it all😢 i would definitely love a series of this! im trying to become fluent this time around 🤍
Free idea, but maybe a favorite signs video. Its just really chill when you teach signs and I know you probably don't want to do like more detailed Sign vids, so I thought favorite signs would open up other vocabulary without being so bogged down with the responsibility of teaching
We need more of this please! I really liked it and I also found it really useful💗
this is genius!! not only relaxing but also i tried to remember as much as i can while being half asleep hahaha if you wanna do part 2 im here for it❤

Please do more of asl in asmr, i’m learning and i love how you go in depth with each parts, it help a lot!
love it, can't wait for the next lesson🤓
This is so informative! I love this video!! Thank you :)
it was soooo satisfying. i really enjoyed it THANK YOU
this is brilliant ❤️
omg i love this!! sign language should be more taught everywhere
took an ASL class in middleschool its pretty shocking on how much i remeber this vid a perfect for a refresher !!!!
Please make a pt.2 to this I genuinely learned a lot and retained it all so quickly. You’re such a great teacher !! Plus I was hella relaxed so you nailed both aspects of this 😭
Please do more of these!! The way you explain each movement you need to make instead of simply showing the signs really helps me learn them a lot easier. Plus the asmr is really nice lmao :)
I really enjoyed this, and would definitely love a series of conversational ASL lessons. keep up the great work!
i love your aesthetic honestly
Love this!! I love doing asl asmr ❤
Omg I love ASL I have been taking it for about a year and I use it on a daily. It's so useful especially since most people don't know it.
I love this!! I am a hearing person that is learning ASL in the ASL club at my school, and I love to see more people out there teaching it so people can learn more about the deaf/hard of hearing community ❤🤟
Loved this video! 😊
Honestly this is so nice. When I was really small my mom taught me some asl, but I've since forgotten most of it
wow this is so cool! always wanted to learn ASL, thought of it like a dope way of communication for cool ppl almost like a secret language spies would use etc. And you're doing an excellent job at teaching the basics in this vid. And all this in my fave ASMR format. Sheesh ty Madi
I've always wanted initial lessons on ASL. I've used the alphabet only, and it's helped the few times I tried to communicate with hearing impaired people, but learning proper asl is so cool. I hope you upload more, you're very knowledgeable and great at communicating the details and aspects of both the form and gestures.
Really great. Absolutely vital to bring this to attention. What a world it would be if we all learned this. Hi from the UK, your videos much appreciated 😊
your voice is like the perfect level for ASMR it's 😴😴 anyway this vid is awesome!! I'm learning ASL in college RN so this helps me reinforce some stuff I learned. thanks!!
many many more of these pls!!
love this video i rly wanna learn asl. also ur hair has grown so much !
This is so great! I recently got a new student who is hard of hearing so this is super helpful.
Girl this was amazing u gotta do it again
This is awesome! I took ASL in 2010 and it wasn't considered a language formally back then, I had to convince my counselor to let me take it as a language credit. But because myself and a few others brought it up it was changed. I still remember a lot of the basics, and it has come in handy when I worked retail/sales. Anyway, thanks for doing this and great video! Can't wait for more. 😊❤
watching a new video of yours is truly the best start to the weekend! especially love this video as i have been wanting to expand my knowledge of asl. you are a great teacher btw , very clear :)

That was a good brush up of some asl basics. As a coda.
i’ve been thinking of learning asl and this inspired me. you should consider signing through the video while you’re talking and explaining asl to us!!
This is a very cool video, keep it up, Madi!
Whoa, cool! Can't really benefit massively from this since I live in the UK, but it's awesome to see you use the platform to teach something pretty important, and something that's pretty uniquely suited to ASMR imo.

I nevee comment somewhere but I will today. I really liked this video and I wanna learn sign language now. Probably the german one since I'm german and I will maybe use this more but its looks so exiting. Thanks for that video and I hope u will make a second one soon. I agree with you sign language should be taught in school. Have a nice day everyone who reads this ^^
Rewatching as I fell asleep last night. 2 things. 1) More vids on this please!! 💚 2) my hands/fingies are pretty freaking stiff 😅
ayyy madiduv is backk
This is so cool
Thank for making this! I've been trying to learn ASL on my own time. Just so that I can be able to talk to those who need me to use it. But it's not exactly as easy as just using Google translate for a word in Spanish lol So not only was this useful it was also relaxing.

I don't know how im supposed to comprehend and process regular Madi duv asmr videos now 🥵 Very interesting stuff here, as well.
ive been wanting to learn some asl anyway!
pls make more videos like this
Hi Madiduv I hope your having a good night i have been subscribed to your channel for a long time and I wanted to show my support for your channel

Every new video she gets more prettier and prettier
This makes me want t o genuinely learn asl
Wow. Very interesting. Also, awesome hair. 👍🏽
Thank you for teaching me ASL it's very useful god bless you 🤍🙏
Omg I'm in ASL II rn, surprised me so much seeing this
the signs for yes and no are so cute
Okay we need a hairstyle grwm for the 100k special
it is not okay to be this pretty
this is my first video of yours ive seen so maybe you do this already... but i would love to see some ramble videos/talking in general where you're signing throughout the video - sign language as a feature but not the focus heart❤
Could you make bilingual videos, in which you sign at the same time as you speak, so that we could learn the vocabulary with a proper context please? ❤
Even though I already knew the alphabet, I've needed this. I'm not really deaf, but like bats aren't really blind. 10/9, thank you for expanding my brain past the number 9

You’re so gorgeous Madi! Thank you for this video ❤ I had a question, have you used the same blue yeti since you began filming? I had one and it started making this weird electric buzzing sound so I got a cheaper alternative which is kinda meh so far I wish I could make the yeti work right 😩
i remember wanting to take asl as a language in high school and they wouldn’t even count it as a real language it was wild
