My husband and I are American born but we long ago fell in love with the close to the ground Eastern style beds. In Japan they are futons. But to my delight I see them here as well, in Korean versions. So much healthier than a western bed. In fact whenever we go traveling around the United States, we stay in 'Western style' hotels and the beds are never comfortable for us, as long time Asian-styled sleepers.

Glad to meet Asian-styled sleeper here. If you love it, then I highly recommend you to experience Korean styled ground bedding. It would be a new and interesting experience for you, especially in winter, cause it comes with Korean underfloor heating system called Ondol. Come visit sometime!🙂
