Man this video just perfectly checks all the boxes for the early days of KZread ASMR in the early-to-mid 2010s: - Around 10 minutes long - No green screen or fancy background, just the ASMRtist's bedroom - Very basic lighting, editing, and overall production value - No crazy high-end microphones or equipment, just the camera mic with the familiar white noise in the background This is refreshing as fuck. I didn't know I needed this.

In college, one of my literature teachers offered some serious extra credit for completed and high-grade map quizzes for all the countries and islands in the world because geography was heavily related to the works we were reading. It was fun, but...eye-opening.... For remembering Vermont and New Hampshire, I always noted that they were side by side, pretty much the same shape, and located in the northeast. Vermont is shaped like a "V" and New Hampshire was the other one lol (or shaped like an italicized "N").

@@DJKuroh, I spent half of my high school in the US and the other half in Canada (both West Coast), and when it came to US geography, Canadians seemed to have fared better, no offense. I had to explain to an American that Washington State is different (and in fact very far) from Washington DC. This happened in Maryland which made it more sad. In the US, we did a Kahoot in Geography class and a question came up where we had to choose the answer with real states. Over half the class chose an answer with New England (which is a region) and I guess they didn't realise that New Mexico is a state. New Mexico is a pretty empty, unpopular state but can you imagine a Chinese person forgetting that Tibet and Xinjiang (very isolated and far west) are provinces of China? India has many states and territories, but they will go bonkers if you show a map of their country without a sliver of land, or even the unnoticeable islands in the ocean. Speaking of which, I'm sure the average Chinese and Indian can name 50 cities (plus many more towns and villages). Why can't the average American despite having one of the highest per capita spending on education?

@Justin Keyboardist 50 isn't that many. I'm from the U.K. and can name and point to all European countries and all 50 states in a minute or less. Most people in most countries probably couldn't, but they certainly should be able to because it took me about 2 hours to learn that. There's really no excuse for not knowing at least half.

Am i the only one who loves geography? Ive known every state and where its located since i was in preschool. My mom used to give me a blank u.s. map and have me fill it in. One of my favorite toys growing up. Sadly i forgot all of the capitols and nicknames tho

As an American, I was actually really impressed with myself that I knew 49. I got stuck on one and then had to sing the song in alphabetical order and went "Kansas!! Ah shit. That's the one."

This was freaking ( AWESOME ) I think you should make a video where you choose like three words, and just silently repeat them over and over again, and then choose another three words and repeat those words for a while, and just do a whole video where you’re choosing a few words to repeat again and again because it freaking made my brain 🧠 vibrate with pure tingle pleasure listening to you repeat what you were saying over and over again! 👍 the tingle queen nocked it out the park, home run tingle maker, good job 👏 👍 😃

We don’t pronounce Oregon like that, as many people do! It’s pronounced like “Organ”. There’s a lot of bumper stickers here that say “ORE-GUN” or OR-GUNian” because ‘Murica 😂
