Same here! I haven't really seen any videos on behind the scenes, how tos with soap ASMR. Everyone seems very tight lipped about it. Stark opposite of the ASMR chalk crushing community. Everyone shares with each other and with us about how things are made. I enjoy both, so that was something I realized early on was how secretive the soap community is. I would love to see how they do it. Everything is so beautiful, it really is an art form!

@@heatherrisser6697I think the people who are good at it may be afraid if lots of people know how to do it, there will be less interest in their videos, so they keep the how-to a secret. Just my opinion but it would be great to get tips on how to make those amazing crunching sounds.

@pammccabe7535 I absolutely see it from that aspect, however, it's done the complete opposite in the Chalk community. I think it's it's a wonderful thing to share your gifts. There's plenty to go around, and when you're a solid artist with a huge following, I think I'd be secure in knowing that I wouldn't be losing any of my beloved and dedicated followers, simply sharing them. Not everyone that tries to make such beautiful things will succeed, but in my experience, no one that's shared little tips here and there to help others has lost followers. From what I've noticed throughout the many years that I've watched different types of ASMR, they actually gain more. It's a matter of choice and opinion. If the creator wants to share and help others, I think that's a wonderful thing rather than see someone really trying their best and flopping and not helping if I was in the position to do so. It's hard work, not everyone will put into it what it takes to grow a huge following, so like I said, to each their own.
